A serene location in the valley below the Florida Mountains surrounded by beautiful Chihuahuan desert plants. Some of the best sunrises & sunsets can be seen right from the casita patio as well as dark-sky stargazing. 14 miles from the town of Deming & easy access to the Florida Mountains. The perfect spot for a relaxing vacation, to getaway for remote work or during your ibex, javelina, or quail expedition.

We enjoyed our stay here at this beautiful home. The view was absolutely stunning, and the host is very kind and thoughtful. She answered all of my questions, and replied very quickly to my messages. I would 100% recommend this place for your next stay!

The casita was very clean and was beautifully decorated. The fireplace added a cozy warmth on a cold day. I only wish we would have had the time to stay longer.

Las Floridas was a perfect transition from our mini vacation of a few days in Santa Fe and our return to Tucson, Arizona. Everything about this enchanting spot was perfect. The directions, the location, the setting and the comfort were just perfect. We were there such a short time however we thoroughly enjoyed a lovely sunset, beautiful stars, and a dramatic sunrise. We had a mini glitch in our use of the code for the gate entrance, and the host responded within minutes and resolved the issue. They were very responsive and friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this spot, though I must say that more than one night would’ve been even more enchanting.

The casita was amazing! Such a great property with everything needed for a wonderful relaxing getaway. We loved the remote location that was still very easy to get to the town and expressway, the wonderfully decorated interior and all the features like the cozy fireplace. Definitely recommend driving a little further to stay at this fabulous place. Thank you!

Great spot to stay

Owner is very engaged, the place is clean and quiet. My only recommendation would be to ensure the listing reflected a bit more prominent that there is no cook top or oven. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Quiet, relaxing location

We enjoyed our stay out in the country at this little oasis. We had a short overnight stay, but had everything we needed. It is a little 14 mile drive into Deming, but it's very safe and eclectic.The owner is super responsive and concerned that we were well taken care of.

Desert Casita surrounded by Soap Tree Yucca!

My Husband and I spent 2nights at this awesome place, just relaxing, bird watching,Stargazing in the beautiful night sky !! Just outside of Deming NM this is the place to stay! The Casita was very clean, comfortable bed, and everything we needed for a great stay! We will stay here again! Scott & Cathy TX

Ibex Hunt Stay

Perfect location for an ibex hunt stay. Everything was as advertised and awesome in every way. I would certainly recommend this Casita for anybody. I would absolutely stay here again but I doubt that I will ever hunt the Florida Mountains again. Host was great with questions and very helpful and timely with info requested. Awesome all the way around!

Beautiful New Mexico Casita

This little Casita was the perfect stay for our family of 4. Our boys loved exploring the land and the sunset was amazing! The star gazing was a must see. Accommodations were exactly as advertised. The fireplace was cozy and easy to operate. The outdoor pit was a great place to grill up some yummy burgers! Owners were quick to respond to questions. 100 % recommend!

We stayed for a single night in june. The property eas very clean. Directions were perfect. The property grounds were beautiful. They have a little 1 mileish hiking trail on the property that is easy to walk. The host communicated just as expected and responded fast. I highly recommend sitting outside at night and look at the stars. So beautiful thank you
