The cabin was as described. Plenty of room for my family of 9. The bonfire area is nicely situated. The only negative was the sound of the highway, M72.

Relaxing weekend

This place was very nice and very well taken care of. The location was great. We planned a short weekend getaway and this place was perfect . We would stay here again.

Beautiful setting, relaxing stay

The Sleeping Bear Lair is a wonderful place to get away from it all and relax! The house was exceptionally clean and well stocked. We loved the cozy and relaxed feel during our long weekend stay.

Wonderful Family Week

This property and the host are wonderful. The cabin is in a great location and is laid out perfectly. Highly recommend for families, groups or just a quiet weekend up north.

Lovely cabin

We had a wonderful time staying at this spacious but cozy cabin. It was nice and quiet but close to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City but was also comfy to just relax and stay in during bad weather.

Sleepy bear lair

Stay was nice location was within 20 min of Travers city and sleep bear dunes nice central location for both. Cabin was clean and plenty of room for my family and my in-laws.

Cozy Cabin

This is an excellent cabin in the woods. It is very well appointed, cozy cabin. The cabin is located an easy, quick drive to downtown Traverse City for all the shopping, dining, and other needs you may have. Highly recommend this for a great family vacation spot.

Great stay! Lots of attention to detail

Host very easy to get hold of. House has small attention to detail. Centrallly located to many attractions. Had a great stay for a 50th Girls weekend. Would definitely recommend.

Last bit of summer

We came up with 2 other families for a last bit of summer. The property was centrally located for our plans, which was very convenient. Property was as listed & all communications were quick & helpful. Would rent there again.

Cozy and Clean

We had a great stay with our family group of 9. We appreciated that the cabin was set up to accommodate that many-plenty of dishes, enough seating at the table, and even enough room to all gather and relax by the fire in the living room. The location is great as well. We enjoyed walks in the woods on the property, playing corn hole and football outside, and visiting nearby Glen Arbor for shopping, wine tasting, and hiking. The cabin is clean and nicely decorated. The beds are very comfortable! The hosts were great communicators. I highly recommend this place!
