Fully furnished home with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms, an outdoor propane grill, and a washer and dryer included for your convenience. Also have bowls for your pet friends and safety gate for your kiddos. We also have a professional grade bags/cornhole set as well!

Private and year-round Lake Catherine Access. Every year from Nov 1 to the end of February the company that manages the lake lowers the levels around 3-5 feet. Our dock sits on the side with deep water so we have deep water at the dock year round, while many homes do not. Please note it’s a very steep walk down our concrete stairs with handrail to the lake. Pet Friendly with a fenced yard. Free Tesla / EV Charger. We're ~10 Mi to the National Park and 15 minutes to the Oaklawn Race Track and Casino

Please note, we do pull the boat out of the water and store it for the winter since the lake levels are lowered. The lower water levels can pose a serious hazard when driving a boat with low water. The boat will be available starting mid-to late February. Please reach out with any questions.

There is a 23 foot tritoon boat available for rent while staying at The Perch. Included are all life jackets, and a tube for towing the family around on the lake. Please note the boat will be pulled from the water for winter storage and unavailable from late Nov 1 to late-February.

As with any boat, things can break from time to time and we cannot guarantee the availability of the boat. Because of this, we will not refund your stay at the house if the boat is inoperable at the time of rental. We don’t require deposits to reserve the boat, it’s only for our guests, and you can make decisions day-of on whether you would like to rent it.

Please note, to get to the dock is a reasonably steep ~100ft walk down concrete stairs with a handrail to access the private dock and lake. There is also a floating "lily pad" available for guest use.

Any dogs over the 2 dog limit there is an additional $100 non-refundable pet fee and a fully refundable $500 pet fee required. We do not allow cats, sorry feline friends.
This is our home, not a hotel, please treat it as such.
Front-door access code will be provided before check-in. We welcome your pups but please clean up after them and keep them off the furniture and beds. 2 dogs maximum, if you absolutely must bring more than 2 dogs there will be an additional $50 pet fee per dog. Sorry, we don’t allow cats.

Guests must be at least 21 years old to rent this property.

Please don't forget to text us when you check out. Check out is 11:00, a late fee may be applied if you check out after 11:00.

1. No parties or events allowed.
2. No pets on the furniture or bed. If pet fur is found on the furniture or beds you will be assessed an additional $50 cleaning fee.
3. Absolutely NO smoking allowed inside. If our cleaning crew reports residue from smoking inside you could be subject to an additional $500 cleaning fee.
4. No unregistered guests allowed.
5. Please don’t eat or drink in the bedrooms
6. Please turn up the AC and lights off when you go out.
7. Please respect check-in and check-out times.
8. Please take care of the furnishings. You’re responsible for damages.
9. Please don’t rearrange the furniture.
10. Please do your dishes.
11. Please take the trash out before you leave.
12. Please make sure to put the kayaks and canoe back if you used them and put the life jackets and paddles back
13. No illegal substances are allowed on the premises.
