We were two families of four staying for an extended weekend. The house was the perfect size. Very warm house. Plenty to do for our kids who are in the age range of 7-12 years old. The location was perfect for what we wanted (hiking, railbiking, etc). David was very responsive. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time! The house is beautiful and there were so many games to play. Everyone had a blast! All the beds were very comfortable and the whole house was extremely clean. The ride up was even picture perfect including mountin ranges, gorge and waterfall. Owners of the house are very nice and made us feel very welcome! We cannot wait to go back!

We enjoyed this comfy-cozy get away

This house was perfect for our needs. It had great amenities and we loved the downstairs game rooms. Also, was nice hanging outside by the fire pit with nearby hiking as well. The host was very attentive and accommodating. We can’t wait to come back again next ski season.

Plenty to do here to keep you occupied. Wide open space in the backyard with a fire pit, large kitchen stocked with supplies for hosting a large party, game and theatre room were perfect to keep everyone having fun.Surprisingly comfortable matresses for a rental home.The house is walking distance from the Haines Falls trailhead. Its a beautiful hike.

Beautiful House in the Catskills

Annual golf trip with friends 6th year running and couldnt be more happy with everything the house offered. Great area to sit around a fire. Good golfing in the area especially for upstate. The house was very clean and had air in every room. Game room was cool and cant beat the location near the interstate. The owner was responsive and helpful. Would absolutely book again. 5 stars!

Well equipped family getaway

This home was perfect for our family ski weekend. The property is well located close to Hunter Mountain, with lots of restaurants and other activities nearby. The home itself is well laid out with lots of bedrooms and nicely separated entertainment spaces. Our kids loved the vast bookshelves full of board games and the big backyard. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking or baking. The whole house is very clean and well maintained. The hosts were very responsive, and checked in multiple times to make sure we had everything we need. We'd love to go back.

Another Great Ski Weekend!

It was a wonderful surprise to find a new state-of-the-art home theater with a hundred inch projection screen in he newly refinished basement area. This place has all the amenities you could need including spacious living, fully functional kitchen, personal bath towels in our room, ping pong and of course, the backyard fire pit. Our VRBO host was always in close communication to ensure that everything was OK. Already looking forward to next year!

All set for a great stay in the Catskills.If you are hiking, relaxing or staying at the house to decompress, this home will be a win- win for your whole family. Great space for gathering together and yet separate bedroom areas so people can do their own thing without impacting everyone.Amazing back porch and picnic table with beautiful view. Great space in the lower level for evening play or watching all entertainment. You will be happy with your choice if you stay at this home. Not just a house, but great character too.

We were 10 older adults who don't get a chance to get together very often. June weekend in 2026. David was an excellent host, very responsive and quickly (there were no plastic garbage bags--he responded quickly, got us into a locked closet to check for more, offered quick reimbursement if we had to buy them etc) . The place has true Queen and King beds in the bedrooms (only 1 of 5 is en suite), comfortable, with AC in each room that really works for those hot days. Central air not needed in this house. The house is a little older than it looks in the pics but no matter--except the deck and deck table needs refinishing/staining (but safe and sturdy). The kitchen is adequate for a few people to work in at same time (3 max). The house is a bit dusty overall--the appliances, bathrooms and floors are very clean but overstuffed furniture is dusty and every fan in the place is loaded with dirt on top of the blades. It is actually visibly falling off the blades in the very high fan in the living room. We would not turn it on. The entertainment amenities are superior as noted in the pics--lots of board games and big screen for movies, and the game room with ping-pong, air hockey, bar shuffleboard etc is legit. The supermarket is only a 12 min drive. The location is quiet and attractive. The Katterskill Falls are spectacular. Overall, we had an excellent time and would re-up--as I said it really worked for us but a family or 2 would do even better. Great big yard for kids.
