Good communication and a good stay. The kitchen lacked in eating utensils, specifically forks, but had plenty of cooking vessels, plates, and cups. The hosts communication was quick and responsive. The lodging was clean and comfortable. It was as advertised. We would definitely go back and stay again.

When we checked in we met the manager and she immediately upgraded the unit we stayed in to a bigger one which was excellent! The only issue was it was bigger unit not cleaned.

Great location!

The cabin was clean and very comfortable, and met our needs perfectly. The location was perfect for getting to the downtown area, the golf course, or just central for exploring the island. We would book this cabin again.

Awesome stay!

We had a great time! Very relaxing, the home was clean and everything we expected. The host was very accommodating and friendly when we requested to make some changes to our trip.

Nice Condo

Overall the condo was nice. Great location and price! I’m not sure I would recommend it for a family with a crawling infant (the floors weren’t very clean) but if it was just my husband and I - we’d definitely go back!

Weekend stay

Was a nice place to stay in a little community. Close to town where everything is, but not directly in town. Loved that the facility had golf cart rentals and when booked and we arrived at our place it was already sitting there. They have taxis to get from the ferry back to the place.

Great Stay

We’ve stayed at multiple other island club rentals, most of which were extremely dirty and run down. This rental was definitely the best one we’ve stayed at. The beds were comfy and I loved that there were queen beds instead of full size like in other rentals. We had a bit of a delay with checking in and making sure we had linens and towels, but otherwise everything was great.

Not the Best… Not the Worst…

The property was what we were looking for. Has plenty of beds for 10. The location is a short drive to downtown. However, the cleanliness was somewhat questionable… If we walked around barefoot, our feet turned black.

Fun cabin for a weekend stay!

We stayed Fri-Sun. Check-in was easy and communication with the property owner was awesome! Tonya was always super quick in responding to any questions we had. The cabin is in Island Club which is a cute little community with its own pool. The cabin appeared clean and had everything we needed (except towels and linens). Great front deck for hanging out also! It’s about an 8-10 minute golf cart ride to the main area of Put-in-Bay but it was an easy route and we didn’t mind. Would definitely stay again!

Stay somewhere else

If you stay here you will get the bare minimum. A roof and running water. The place has severe water damage that is evident as soon as you walk through the door. If the hidden mold doesn’t get you the stench will. Then your clothes end up smelling like the place. Not saying that all of Island club is this way but stay away from 70

Filthy

The house was filthy when we arrived. There was a coating of dust and dirt on everything. There was a dirty sheet in the washer, dirty clothes under the bed, cigarette butts on the bedroom floor, mold in the shower and mouse droppings in the kitchen drawers. We spent the first hour of our stay cleaning as best we could with limited supplies. Otherwise, the house is decent. We had enough beds. The living room furniture is sufficient and leather/vinyl, so easy to clean and sanitize. The house would have been perfect for us had it been clean. We enjoyed the pool for a couple of hours. We also liked the outside space but it would have been nice to have some comfortable chairs on the deck. There is a grill but we did not use it. We won't choose this property again and will hesitate to choose any property in this development for fear of the same cleaning staff servicing all of the properties.

This place was nothing like the pictures. It was absolutely horrible. Disgusting bugs mold do not ever stay here. I promise you will regret it and when we tried to work it out with the host. They did nothing absolutely horrible place to stay ruined my family’s vacation and they didn’t care at all.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but future guests deserve to know what they’re walking into. We stayed at House 70 Oasis at the Island Club in Put-in-Bay, Ohio, and it was nothing like the photos advertised. From the moment we walked in, the smell was overwhelming. It was so strong that we questioned whether we should even stay. Unfortunately, we had already arrived and couldn’t find another place that could accommodate our group on such short notice. The cabin was in extremely poor condition. There was mold throughout the bathroom, including on the shower liner, around the tub, and on the walls. The shower liner itself was filthy and should have been replaced long ago. The furniture was badly worn, with rips, tears, holes, and stuffing coming out of multiple pieces. The walls throughout the cabin had holes and visible damage. The mattresses were stained, damaged, and didn’t even have mattress protectors or coverings, which made the beds feel extremely unsanitary. The outdoor patio was just as disappointing. It was covered in bird droppings, and there was a large hole in the deck that appeared to be a safety hazard. Overall, the cleanliness and maintenance of this property were unacceptable and nothing like what was advertised. We documented everything with photos and immediately contacted the rental office. In our opinion, this cabin should not be rented until these issues are properly addressed. If you’re considering booking House 70 Oasis,please look elsewhere.

The listing indicated linens and towels were provided in 2 locations, however after confirmation they are not included. The inside was not clean and one bed was unusable (mattress pad was dirty and smelled).
