Excellent location with great views of the lake. Lots of thoughtful touches in regards to amenities and supplies provided. Clean, comfortable, and cozy. We also love that it’s pet friendly! Thanks for a lovely stay!

Our family had a wonderful time. Cabin had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Sunset view over the lake and sounds of loons made it a true MN experience.

John was extremely helpful with questions and communications about the property. The place was perfect for our bachelorette gathering! The access to the lake was beautiful and plenty of things to do around the property and close access to boat rentals.

Clean, modern, roomy three bedroom right on magnificent Wigwam Bay. Good fishing immediately offshore. Great firepit/sunset spot. Responsive host.

Wonderful stay!! The Honey Hole was perfect! Spotlessly clean & cozy with all the amenities of home! John even had firewood loaded for us! Excellent location & we felt very safe. Highly recommend for families, fishing trips & everything in between!

Family getaway

Property and cabin are well suited for family getaway with nice open layout, well stocked, nicely decorated, owner very responsive and professional, large deck for enjoying the outdoors. Weather was perfect and we made many memories over our week long stay.

Great location, comfy home

Honey Hole was a great find for an ice fishing trip with a few friends. Lots of room, great views and a great location on the lake for quick access to lots of great spots. Thanks again John!

Great getaway

Had a great time spending it with my kids and grandkids. Quick drive (only 90 minutes from the northern suburbs). Plenty of room. Didn't get in the water, a little too cool for that, but the firepit was perfect.

Honey Hole for sure!!

Our stay was well above expectations!!! Not 1 but 2 docks available to get you right on the water slaying the small mouth bass, walley, and rock bass morning to night! Plus John had the house ready for yucky weather or non-fishermen vacationers filling the house with puzzles, games, and galore! Looking forward to our next trip already!!!

The Honey Hole Lodge was a wonderful spot. Description was right on. The view was amazing. Sunsets and morning coffee from the deck were my favorite part of the fishing weekend. Having laundry on sit was a huge bonus. We were able to launder our towels. It could use some minor maintenance like patio doors don’t slide very easily; made it a challenge to carry things out to deck to eat. Table umbrella did not work. Would love to have had a small vacuum or sweeper. I’m a clean freak and clean every morning. These were minor and did not deter from a wonderful weekend. Importantly, communication with John was excellent. Thank you!

Cozy Cabin with a Great View

Honey Hole Lodge was a great cabin for our family of 6. The cabin was nice and clean on the inside and fit the listing description perfectly. The big kitchen area was fantastic for preparing meals, and the grilling setup outside came in handy too. The property owner was easy to get ahold of and communication was received in a very timely fashion. I would definitely recommend Honey Hole to anyone looking for a roomy cabin in the Mille Lacs area.

Family Weekend

The Honey Hole was EVERYTHING, we needed it to be. John was great at communicating and was very quick to respond. We loved the area and my family from out of town really got see what the “lake life” was like. Thanks John for your hospitality. We appreciate it so much.

Cute cabin for a small group

The cabin was nice. Small but perfect for what we needed it for our group of 8. It is right on the lake and water was clear. It is rocky where this cabin is but after you get past the rocks it’s sandy, however you do get the weeds and tall grass after the dock. Fishing isn’t great off the dock either, better to take a boat out. Overall great experience. Owner was responsive to any questions I had during the stay if needed.

John was great to deal with. We got married on this property and it was perfect. He was very accommodating even allowing us to stop by a few weeks early to see the property in person for decorating ideas. We added lights and decorations to the dock for the wedding. Great property, amazing sunsets and views will definitely be booking again. Clean plenty of room. Great fire area.
