Wow, Ben is such a great host! I would recommend this property to anybody. Everything was clean, stocked, and beautifully decorated when we arrived. There is so much to do around this area, and just a walk to a nice beach. Everyone who was at the surf shop below the house, including Christopher and Ben, were so friendly and helpful to us. Absolutely loved our stay. Thank you so much!

Hands down one of the best homes we have ever stayed at. The view was spectacular and Ben was an amazing host. The place was spotlessly clean and it was fully stocked. The beds were comfortable and it was so nice having air conditioning. It was so much fun watching the surfers right outside and listening to the waves crash up against the rocks. I would recommend this vrbo to everyone and if we are lucky to make it back to Kona, we will for sure be renting this home. Thank you so much for your hospitality Ben.

We can't say enough positive things about this vacation rental or the people! Ben is super helpful and kind, as are his staff at the surf shop Chris and Jack. The rental has everything you need, including coolers for beach days, and an excellent sunset view. Ben was very responsive whenever we had a question, *and* our snorkeling gear, boogie boards, and beach umbrella and chairs were included in the vacation rental! The location is also great. You can easily walk to a very accessible and lifeguard-watched decent snorkeling beach, plus you saw close enough to whatever tours you sign up for without being surrounded by other tourists all the time. We will 100% stay here again when we come back to Kona.

This place was incredible! Stayed here with our 13 year old son. The home was immaculate and had everything! I can’t say enough great things about the home, the amenities, and the host was amazing. Truly a great find.

Would rate 100 stars if possible. By far the most meticulously clean and well decorated vacation rental I’ve ever stayed in. Incredibly well appointed with every thing you could possibly want or need. Location was perfect an host was awesome. Thanks so much for a great vacation.

Ben was a great host!!! My wife and I had a great time here and highly recommend the location. Having the surf shop downstairs was a huge plus and we still had complete privacy. We will definitely be back.

This was a great property and the location was perfect. Ben and his staff at the surf shop were infinitely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this as a location to surf, snorkel and sight see in Kona.

The room was clean and functional, and we were pleasantly surprised by how well equipped it was with amenities and supplies. The fresh avocados, bananas, and lilikoi from Ben’s farm added a lovely tropical touch to our meals. Ben was very responsive to our questions, which made our stay comfortable and worry-free.

What an incredible stay! Ben was the ultimate host. He was extremely responsive and welcoming. His place was immaculate and very well stocked. The main bed was super cozy with a massager and ability to adjust your head and legs. The view was spectacular and we saw spouting whales while sitting and enjoying our morning coffee. The snorkeling across the street is one of the best on the island. We enjoyed watching the sunset every evening. The colors were amazing.

Our stay on Kahalu’u Bay was the best rental experience our family has ever had! Ben and everyone at the shop were so welcoming to us. It was the perfect place for our family, combining gorgeous views, unparalleled access to surfing, snorkeling and more just steps away, and easy access to all Kona has to offer. The house was so clean and well-appointed. One tip: definitely check in and look at the cupboards before grocery shopping as there was a lot already stocked. Just waking up to watch the morning sun hit the bay as the first surfers went out, listening to the friendly chatter and surf lessons happening right below the balcony, and the friendly welcoming smiles every time we came back through the gates - our family will treasure many many good memories.

Bay Retreat

Amazing

The place was very clean and has everything you could possibly need from cooking utensils, towels and linens to beach supplies. The location is great! Close to food, shopping, activities and best of all the beach and snorkeling cove across the street!! Ben is so welcoming and helpful. It was a great stay! Highly recommend this place and will stay here again the next time we visit!!!

Couldn't be more comfortable and well furnished. Gorgeous sunsets from the dining balcony every night; happy voices from the surf shop below during the day. Will definitely try to return.

Incredible house and location!

The house was amazing - the kitchen had every appliance and utensil I could ever need. It’s an absolutely gorgeous home. We enjoyed our meals on the deck with the water view and loved walking across the street to go snorkel. The staff in the surf shop downstairs were super friendly and helpful too! It was an fantastic experience for me and my two boys!

Family fun!

Terrific property and owner! The location is hard to beat with proximity to great snorkeling and surfing. The property has everything you need and the deck is a perfect place to watch sunsets, enjoy a meal/drinks, or just relax! We will be back!

This is a beautiful house! It has all the amenities and more. Everything is fully stocked with everything you could need. Very clean and beautifully decorated. The host was amazing and was always in communication. Check in and check out is super easy. The ocean views are amazing and there are several lanais where you can sit and eat. 10/10! We will definitely stay here again.
