The host was awesome, the place was perfect for a weekend getaway and so convenient to downtown! The private pool and outdoor kitchen was just what we had hoped it would be! We would definitely come back!

Patricia was a great host! She communicated quickly and the check in process was very smooth. The property itself is so cute and homely and close to town. We didn’t have to drive further than 20 minutes to get anywhere. I highly recommend this cabin!

Great place to stay close to hiking, shopping & river

Quiet place & great host. Didn’t have great mobile service but they have wifi. Host was very responsive & it was comfortable & loved the towels & furnishings.

Perfect for an extended getaway! Our three night, two day stay was perfect for relaxing with family, grilling out and hangout by the pool! The host was excellent! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Home away from home

Beautiful place . Clean everything you needed. Pool was the so refreshing!! Close to everything!! We absolutely loced it. Plan on coming back.

Stay in Ellijay!

My family and I wanted a quiet, easy, fun getaway to celebrate my retirement from the military and take some time to relax. This place delivered. Great inground pool, deer in the yard with morning coffee and just a short drive town for meals. Pooles BBQ was fun and food was good, Cajun Depot Grill was great food! We enjoyed a Braves game, the GA aquarium and Zoo Atlanta during our stay and was all within a short hour to 1.5 hr drive down to the city. The property photos do a great job representing the inside. We will likely visit again as we loved the area and the stay was comfortable. Loved there was a pool and pets were not allowed.

After clearly stating to the owner that we were excited to be staying in her house… upon the day of arrival finding out-she failed to tell us that we would be in a basement efficiency unit. I would’ve never scheduled had I known that piece of information. we left the next morning and asked for a partial refund. No response to date.

This was a great place to stay for the convenience of access to Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Very clean and super comfortable beds. The owner is very responsive to communications! A couple of things future bookers should know: 1) the room is the basement floor of the house (it’s described as first floor, but basement or ground floor is more accurate); 2) there is no thermostat control for the space (the owner can make adjustments remotely via request, but making any adjustments in the middle of the night can’t happen)

This is a downstairs suite of a home, which was cozy, but a little misleading. It stated mountain getaway, yet the house is situated on a road that is utilized quite a bit, and you hear cars all day/night because the main bedroom is facing the road. Another downside is the lack of air conditioning in the suite. It only has two air vents, one in the common area and one in the bathroom. While the owner did set the temperature to 69 degrees (then to 67 degrees after reaching out), there is no thermostat in the suite, which means it is cutting off when the upstairs unit reaches temperature. The two bedrooms in the downstairs suite were scorching hot at night, which was very uncomfortable to say the least. We even went to the local Walmart to buy a tower fan and it didn't help that much. Another issue is the bugs. There were numerous drain flies in the kitchen sink and bathroom sinks and tub, and bugs roaming around on the floor of the bathroom, which was quite unsettling for the price. The pool is nice and refreshing, and it was probably the best part of the stay. The guesthouse is located within 10 minutes of shopping and dining, which is a positive, but I would probably spend the same money or less and go to Blue Ridge if we decide to do this again. The only reason we opted for this one over others was the private pool. But overall comfort is more important and having access to a pool didn't balance out sweating at night. Also, host license expired 12/31/2025. But we saw deer!
