Enjoyed our girls trip at this lovely property. We were close to some good food and made some wonderful memories. First time to Edisto for the 4 of us.

Great place to stay

There were more kitchen appliances and gadgets than expected. The kids loved the spiral staircase and loft bedroom. Everything was very updated and very clean!

The home is very nice. It was the cleanest of all the properties I’ve stayed in in the past. Stayed here three years ago and decided to return after finding out they were no longer managed by VACASA. VACASA was absolutely the worst, charging high fees in case of damage but refused to refund fees when no damage was done. So glad the owner switched to Carolina One. We will return. Had an alligator sunning himself in the backyard. He didn’t bother us or cause any trouble.Furniture was very comfortable. The mattress on the master bed was very comfortable. Didn’t want to get up in the mornings.Two negatives but was able to manage.The freezer on bottom of refrigerator did not make ice often. Ice cream we had in there melted.Home is advertised as pet friendly but one the refrigerator there was a sign that “no pets allowed “All in all we loved the home. Close to the beach. Close to everything.Spent most of our time just reading and relaxing.PS. Check out Flowers seafood for fresh seafood. Awesome selection.

Small Family Reunion

We love this property and have stayed there many times. We watch our pet to make sure they treat this beautiful home as if it were their own (and we do as well!). It feels comfortable and well equipped. I would highly recommend it, but....everyone will want to stay there and we won't be able to get a reservation! :-) :-) :-) But seriously, it's a great property and within walking distance to the park, etc. Thank you to the owners for a lovely property.

great house

very nice equipped and comfortable house. my only suggestion is every room needs a SMART tv. the only tv that worked all week was the living room. the one in the master was rebooted several times and worked for one night. small, easy fix. other than that the house was great

Not a well-kept house

Inadequate kitchen, poor heat circulation, a strange chemical smell, and needs updating.

It’s disheartening to learn that some items fell short of your expectations as this cottage consitently receives high praise regarding comfort, cleanliness, and its over all accomodating nature. We want to assure you that maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and comfort for our guests is of utmost importance to our staff as well as our home owners. Rest assured, we have taken your comments seriously. Our team has investigated the reported odor and inadequate heat circulation, but regrettably, we haven’t been able to replicate those experiences. Nevertheless, we will continue to monitor the situation closely to ensure our guests’ comfort. Additionally, we are pleased to inform you that a comprehensive renovation of the kitchen, including upgrades to appliances, countertops, cabinets, and the overall layout. These enhancements are scheduled to take place during the Spring of 2024, and we are confident that they will greatly enhance the overall experience for our future guests. Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience you experienced and sincerely hope that you will consider returning to experience the improvements firsthand.
