I’m glad you enjoyed your stay and I’m very sorry that somethings were disappointing to you. I double checked and my description does say we are right off Hwy 65. There is also a picture (one with the snowfall) that shows the highway running in front of the cabins. Some guest such as those on motorcycles enjoy the convenience of the location. Everyone has different preferences and that is understandable. I am sorry about the dog. I’m not sure if my last text was read or not. I did state that was only my second time to ever hear of the dog so it has not been there a lot. The previous time was 2-3 weeks prior. Out of all my trips I have never personally seen a dog up there. He probably belongs to someone and I will try to find the owner and address this. Looks like an Australian shepherd so I don’t believe he would be a stray. Lastly, the loft is small and kids love it! We could have not done it but we saw the little area and had a vision of a little loft and some spiral stairs that would make a kids day. It does have 2 really nice thick mattresses on twin beds that will give adults a good nights rest if needed. We are blessed to have these homes and many have enjoyed and made memories here.
