What a gem! This house is on a quiet street and close to restaurants and activities. We loved the parking at the main level in back of the house. The whole house was super comfortably furnished and the kitchen thoughtfully provisioned. We truly enjoyed our stay even though we did not take advantage of all the entertainment offerings in and over the garage (what a perfect setup for traveling with children!). We would rent again.

Wisp and Fooseball

Great stay! The Knotty Bear cabin was perfect for our group- 4 adults, 2 dogs. Kitchen had everything you could need. The in house amenities- ping pong, Fooseball, shuffle board, board games made rainy day entertainment way more fun. 6 minute drive to the Wisp for skiing.

Winter Wonderland

The property was clean, spacious, and comfortable with all the amenities described. The hot tub was lovely and the game room and ping pong table kept our teen/ tween boys occupied. Located very close to Wisp and lots of restaurants and activities. It’s a gem. We would definitely stay at Knotty Bear again.

Great family getaway and central location can’t be beat!

Wonderful, clean, spacious house that was perfect for our Deep Creek trip. Close to Honi Honi, Swallow Falls, lots of coffee shops, the brewery, Wisp—the list goes on. it’s a great central location for all things Deep Creek. The house itself had plenty of room for our family of 5, and the dog bowl for our pup was a sweet surprise. Hot tub was perfect. Grill (gas as well as charcoal) was great, fire pit so cute. Beds comfy. Front and back porches provided shade and cool down time when we needed it. Definitely recommend.
