The property is stunning! I was already taking pictures before even entering the house! I saw deer, birds, and of course a beautiful horse! "Tranquility" is exactly the right word. The autumn season was the perfect time for my visit!Kudos to this host!

This place was beautiful, very clean, peaceful and serene. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was well stocked. The lake & surrounding woods were stunning in the Fall colors! The swans & their Canadian goose friend were so fun to watch, as was Midnight, the horse. We would come back in a heartbeat... & hopefully will find an occasion to do so. The towns of Harmony and close by, Zelienople were both charming with shops and great restaurants & lots of history. Les and Barbara were easy to correspond with & explained everything well. We would highly recommend staying at The Cabin at Lake Tranquility!!

I never expected to find such a hidden gem of a retreat so close to Pittsburgh. Walking the nearby trail early in the morning felt truly refreshing. I’d love to come back again if I get the chance. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay!

The Cottage was lovely, the view and the surroundings were gorgeous. Les was so nice, we enjoyed meeting him. The house was clean and very comfortable. It would be a great place to bring a family for a vacay. It's located very close to some great shopping, eating and things to stay busy. It's actually one of my favorite places in Pennsylvania! Close to Zelienople, Harmony, Beaver, Butler and just a little over 30 minutes to Pittsburgh. We'll be back!

This cottage was great! Everything was exactly as listed and even more beautiful! Such a cool experience to see the horse hanging out in the back. It was close enough to the city to catch a baseball game & close to the parks we came to explore.

Absolutely gorgeous retreat. Les and Barbara are amazing! This place was the perfect place to relax and enjoy family time. There is so much to do on the property and in the surrounding town too. We loved our stay and can’t wait to go back!

Secluded but Conveniently Located

Quiet and secluded getaway spot. Hard to believe it’s just a couple of miles from restaurants, grocery store, etc. Great place.

The cottage and property are peaceful and comforting. We had a short stay while we explored the nearby parks. It was so nice to have a private, clean & comfortable place to relax and get a good night sleep.

Loved this vrbo

So relaxing here, just listen to the horses and the birds and you will feel any stress melt away. I loved walking trail around lake and looking at swans on the lakes. Nice area for fall festivals.

Mom/daughter weekend

The property was beautiful! Very peaceful and relaxing. My daughter and I like to take a long weekend together and this was exactly what we like. Stay at a quiet place and check some things out around the area. It was perfect

Lovely country property

Lovely owners and property. Invited us to visit with the horses. Granddaughter loved petting the horse! Conveniently located for visiting with family. Many great restaurants a short ride away.

My husband and I brought my dad and his wife out for a weekend getaway and the jeep first weekend. The accommodations were a phenomenal, super peaceful and trifle when we were not on the trails the host left us stocked beyond no belief. I packed more than I needed I cannot wait to go back at midnight. The horse was just an added benefit.

Lovely, peaceful and relaxing. Nature abounds! During our brief overnight stay, we saw deer, osprey, heron, an owl, grand-daddy bullfrogs, fish jumping in the lake, a pair of swans with their newly hatched cygnets, and of course, Midnight, the beautiful horse whose paddocks lie beneath and adjacent to the cottage.

Wonderful!

This cottage is lovely, quiet, and oh so comfy. The farm surroundings are peaceful, relaxing, and inviting. Les and Barbara are great hosts, who made us feel welcome right from our first meeting. The small town of Harmony, with its restaurants, shops, and museum are close by. I highly recommend this property and would love to return!
