Great location for a long weekend in Saranac Lake! We stayed in a second floor apartment which required lots of stairs - not an issue for us but be mindful if anyone in your group has mobility issues.

Very nice convenient apartment with everything we needed. It is on two levels (on the second and third floors of the building), which might not suit everyone. The host was very responsive. Location was excellent, and a parking spot was provided, which was very helpful

Saranac is almost a 2nd home to us. The town and people are great. The same goes for the accommodation. The location is steps away from the main street and local attractions. The rooms are a good size and a restful place to hang out after a busy day. Also, the simple additional touches in the kitchen with food plastic bags, tin foil and condiments make life just a bit easier when you are away. Thanks for a great stay.

Perfect location, walking distance to the ice castles, restaurants, stores, etc. Great having two bedrooms, living room, and fully stocked kitchen. We can’t wait to stay here again. Owner was responsive immediately to anything we needed.

We were right on main st. So we didn't have to walk far to anywhere. The accommodations were vere cozy and convenient. The memory foam beds were amazing.

Convenient access to Van Ho. Heat was a little funny... cold room and hot room for sleeping. Easy check in and very responsive with communication.

This is a lovely rental right in the downtown area of Saranac Lake. The location is so convenient if you want to walk around. We were able to walk to a grocery store and restaurant. The beds were so comfortable and there were plenty of spare blankets. The living / dining area was cozy. We had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely come back again.

Great location, more than expected on amenities.

Fabulous place to stay. More than we expected for kitchen supplies. Great location. Walking distance to wonderful restaurants, grocery store and a laundromat. Would definitely stay again if we return to the area.

Initially we were very confused. Having not ever been to this area, and based on the cover page for the listing, we thought we were staying at the Hotel Saranac. We thought perhaps it had owner operated units within the hotel. Why a VRBO listing for an apartment in a house across the street would use the Hotel Saranac as its first image, and not show any actual images of the outside of the actual house in the listing seemed somewhat like a bait and switch. In the end the unit was decent. It was clean. Check-in process was easy. The owner communicated well. It certainly though was NOT the more upscale accommodations across the street.

The place really didn’t work for us. There were so many air conditioners that were really noisy, especially the swamp cooler in the queen sized room. Downstairs in the king sized bed there was traffic all night with tractor trailers. You had 2 flights of stairs, one in the apartment. To go to the bathroom from king sized room you had to go up a flight of stairs. It was clean, great location to bike trail, but not for us.

Perfect location with an easy walk to shops, Saturday Farmer’s Market and lake. Apartment is clean and stocked with everything you might need. The owner is very helpful and responds quickly to any questions you might have. We will definitely be back!
