Very clean with great amenities. Great shower and kutchen. Beautiful view of the reservoir and the surrounding mountains. Within 10 minutes of several trout fishing areas on the Beaverhead. Would recommend to couples and families alike.

Very nice and comfortable place to stay. The cabin provided everything we needed to cook our own meals. The cabin is situated on a gradual hillside, giving long views to the south, west and north. I especially liked the metal sculptures in and outside the cabin. Even some furniture was artistically welded from scrap metal. The driveway is gravel, so it's never muddy on rainy days. On a per dollar basis, it was one of the nicest VRBO cabins we've ever stayed at. The only reason we may not be back is that it was further away from the areas we wanted to fish.

Our stay in this charmingly modern cabin was delightful! The view was wonderful, and the bird life! -- a curious thrush visited with me during my coffee time, and the bluest bluebird I've ever seen decorated the back patio area on the second morning. It was an easy drive to some new-to-us fishing spots, and there was the special quiet of wide-open spaces there. You can tell that lots of thought went into creating a great place to feel pampered and relaxed with a big-sky Montana flavor. I highly recommend it! Oh, and the host, Joseph, was fantastically helpful and responsive.

The wonderful wooden tent was fabulous, great place to end the day of rock hounding, beautiful art and very cozy. it was so nice to only have to walk across the street for dinner on Saturday and Sunday to the Buffalo Saloon… we hope to be back someday… thanks!!

Beautiful Montana Spot

We came out to hike and explore the Blacktail Mountains and surrounding area and get a little fishing in also. The Wooden Tent sites our needs perfectly! Very cozy, clean and comfortable with a beautiful location looking out at Clark Canyon Reservoir, and an easy spit to get out into the wilderness from. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

This property was absolutely incredible. The cabin was so well furnished. So clean. The owner obviously taste great pride in the guest that get to stay there. If I did not live in Pennsylvania and could move to Montana, I would buy it from him and live there forever. Everything was excellent. Total pride in their location.

Exactly as advertised. Across the highway from the reservoir. Beds are comfortable & plenty of towels provided. Only negative was the noise from the well pump.

Great location near Beaverhead River

We enjoyed everything about this location. It was close to our fishing spots, the home was comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. You can tell the owners care about this property. The ability to do laundry when we needed it and the added bonus of bottled water on site was perfect for all of the hours we put hiking in the hot weather. We hope to be back soon! Five stars all across the board!!

Look no further if you are looking for lodging close to the Beaverhead River. The house is immaculate and has everything you will need for a great stay. The lovely art displayed in the house is an additional bonus.

We LOVED staying at the Wooden Tent. Very clean. Great location. Had everything we needed. The water pressure in the shower was perfect. Highly recommend walking across the way to the Buffalo Lodge. Awesome food and service. Family owned, which we love supporting. Beautiful scenery. Thank you Joe!
