The Cottage, and farm home with a short drive to Square!

Settle in to this cozy farmhouse cottage which was tastefully designed with a mix of vintage and shabby chic decor to give our guests that warm, fuzzy feeling. Walking out of your doorstep, you will be greeted by our curious, but loving farm animals, 4 acres of beautiful country side that’s free to wander, or enjoy a fire under the most picturesque blanket of starry skies.

This newly constructed cottage is nestled on 4 beautiful acres of serene countryside. The property is surrounded by lush green pastures and thick towering forests. The cottage is located only 5-7 minutes from the historical Oxford Square and Ole Miss, yet feels like your in the middle of nowhere. The house is entirely furnished, with new fixtures and appliances included. Like many small homes, it maintains a feeling of spaciousness through a neutral color palette and open floor plan. (There’s also a separate bedroom and lofted guest room with 2 twin beds) The french doors in the living room open up to the back porch which allows guests to have even more space to spread out and enjoy country living at its finest. Relax and unwind on the back porch and take in incredible sunsets, cows and horses grazing in the pasture, chickens frolicking in the yard, or even the occasional deer or turkey passing through..it’s simply breathtaking! The furniture is an eclectic mix of shabby chic and vintage antique finds. The cottage is perfect for gathering, relaxing, escaping for a romantic weekend getaway, or for ball game weekends! If you are looking to book a space for a large family gathering or event, rent both the cottage and the main house. We have hosted family reunions, college reunions, church retreats, and even a wedding. Anyone is welcome! :)

Guest will have access to the cottage and surrounding acreage. There is a chicken coop on the property that houses chickens, goats, mini sheep, and bunnies! Guests are welcome to pick fresh eggs from the coop at anytime. There is ample space for parking, a grill for barbecuing, and also fire pit on the back porch for chilly evenings. Although the main house is located on the property as well, guests may come and go at ease!!

We live on this little 4 acre piece of heaven and enjoy sharing our space and getting to know our guests. For the most part, we let are guests enjoy their privacy but we are only a hop, skip, and jump away so we are happy to help or assist guests anytime!

We are located on a quiet private road minutes from the historic Oxford Square and The University of Mississippi. We are also a short 5 minute drive from beautiful Sardis lake. Enjoy a late afternoon outing to watch the sunset on the banks of the lake..breathtaking!

There is ample space to park several vehicles on the premises. Uber and several taxi services do offer rides to and from our location.

Here are several bits of info that may come in handy during your stay. As y’all can see from the pictures, we live on somewhat of a small farm so there is never a dull moment when it comes to the farm animals. Our overly friendly cats(Ricky Bobby, Stewart Scott, Moe, and Stripey), will try relentlessly to come inside but just shoo them away. There are always fresh eggs in the fridge or coop for our guests to use. We love for our visitors to make themselves at home so if there is anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable please do not hesitate to contact us.
