A few clarifications for future guests: the home is a rustic treehouse, and we describe it that way honestly — it's charming and well-loved, not a hotel, and the character is the point. It has two Google Nest smoke/carbon-monoxide detectors, professional quarterly pest control (the wooded lakeside setting means nature occasionally visits, which we note in advance), and a steeper original staircase with handrails on both sides — plus a ground-floor queen bed for anyone who prefers not to take the stairs. The primary bedroom has a large closet and full dresser. We reached out as soon as we understood there was a concern and would have loved the chance to help, but the decision to leave had already been made. We wish this guest had let us be of service, and we're confident future guests will find the treehouse exactly as hundreds of others have described it. Thank you!
