Great beach house, lots of space and bathrooms for a big group. 20 minute beach walk to the little downtown. The only complaint is that they don't stock any basics, like toilet paper or paper towels. We had one roll of paper for each bathroom and one paper towel roll for 4 days and 8 people. Otherwise really nice location, space and easy communication with the property manager.

Fantastic place to stay. We were a group of guys on a golf trip. Was perfect to pop down to the beach or walk to town (1 mile, we didnt get a golf cart). I would recommend for families as well. plenty of space and easy access to everything. property was clean.

Beautiful ocean views from all rooms of the house! The kitchen was very well stocked. We loved having a separate ice machine. All beds were comfortable and plenty of bath towels were provided. The porch and balconies were really nice. We loved the house & hope to return.

Porch still needs updating several of us got splinters. Coffee pot is not good(cheap). kitchen was spacious and nice as were the bedrooms and baths. Ice machine is a big plus to have at the beach! The view is awesome, and porch is very nice. The grill is sad, maybe replace it with usable one. It’s an old beach house but it met our needs nicely. We would definitely rent it again. Great parking for everyone. Having a surf camp right in front of us was hard. 50 plus kids surfing or trying to for 4 hours every day cramped our beach front time. I wish they would choose a different spot each day so no one is inconvenienced everyday for a week.Overall it’s very nice just a few things I would fix if possible.

We stayed a week with family, 5 adults and 2 children.It was great! Rooms all nice and spacious and bathrooms were too. The only thing I would change is the porch and bridge leading to the beach. The wood was getting kind of old (as I’m sure it all does with the salt air) enjoyed our week so much!

We have stayed in this house 2 previous times and it has not been taken care of. Unfortunately, they have added loud window units and box fans instead of repairing the AC. During our other visits, (same time of year) the AC kept up just fine. There was a deck board on the front steps that was rotted and covered with a mat. During a thunderstorm there was severe water leakage around the sliding glass doors and around a window unit that was surrounded by cardboard. To the credit of Carolina Realty, they immediately fixed the board, leak and brought a new window unit. Unfortunately, the home owner had deferred too much of the maintenance making the property unpleasant in the summer. It is a beautiful little house but needs a lot of work. Sad to give it a bad review because we really lived in years past.

Great house!

This is our second stay at this property. Some upgrades were noticed! Still have a slow sink in the upstairs bathroom but overall you can’t beat this place. Right on the beach!

July 4th Family Vacation

Great property and location for a family vacation. Incredible non-stop views of the ocean and easy access to the beach. Family room and kitchen excellent for family gatherings. Bedrooms, sleeping spaces, and bathrooms set up very nicely for comfort and flexibility. Loved being able to have short walk from the back porch to the ocean for a swim or corn hole game, and then easily return to relax and soak in the sun with the family on the 3 different porches.

Location, location!!!

Wonderful stay on Folley beach. House was clean an comfortable. Bathrooms a bit dated (1980's) but only matters if you care about such things. Direct access to beach is excellent for taking a dip in the sea anytime. Board walk to beach over due for a rehab could use a bit of refurb, be careful of exposed screws. Screened in porches could use a bit of TLC for detached screens. Overall a fantastic spave for a beach vacation!

Fabulous week at the shore!

We had the best time here. The spaces all worked so well for us. Every bed room had its own outdoor space. The view was spectacular. All the furnishings were comfortable and well maintained. The table was huge and perfect for puzzles. We loved the distance to town and walked for all our meals. Thanks for a great week!

Wonderful place to escape to and enjoy the beach!

We loved staying at this house. The location was great, not too far from town but far enough to be away from the crowds. Wonderful desks at the house to sit out and enjoy the ocean. Plenty of space and many of the furnishings were nice quality. Struggled with the checkin process as we never received an email with the details and a call to the property management company did not result in the info. We had to call Vrbo and they called the property management company.

We were very pleased with this beach rental. Our family uses VRBO often and this rental is one of our favorite listings. The beach house was clean and had almost every amenity you could possibly need. The kitchen was well stocked, the starter products (toilet paper, dishwashing soap, shampoo and soap, etc) were more than plenty for our 3 day stay. The check in and check out procedures were easy to follow. We had 6 adults and 5 children and the home had plenty of room for everyone. You will not be disappointed with this beach house rental. Highly recommend.

Torn Screens and Broke AC

Upon arrival immediately noticed all the screens on the multiple porch areas were torn. Property blamed passing Hurricane for damages however no other property in the same stretch displayed any similar damage. AC unit did not function correctly the entire stay, and seemed to completely stop working the evening before our departure.

Thanks for the feedback Bobby! Hurricanes and tropical storms do not cause the same type of damage to every home they affect. Oftentimes a home will be destroyed and its neighbor not affected at all. These storms are very unpredictable. We're happy to say the screens have been repaired and the HVAC is operating as it should. Thank you for staying with us!
