Salt Box II is in a historic area and has been beautifully renovated. The kitchens had everything we needed, and the living/dining areas were good. The host was very communicative when I needed to change my payment card and had some questions. I think the room list could have been clearer- it was not stated that one of the two full baths is downstairs. It was not a big problem, but it would have been nice to know. My family (6 adults w 4 littles) rated both houses 8/10.

This guest texted me after check out to say what a great stay they had and made no mention of this. The listing does call out the location of all bathrooms as well as showing photos. This guest brought a pet to the property, which is prohibited in our house rules. She denied it, then admitted it after being sent photos of pet food & droppings, then looked for a reason to reduce our review ratings as retribution. We reported her to VRBO and will not be hosting this group again.

This sweet house, just 5 minutes from the beach, was as advertised! Three bedrooms which would easily, comfortably hold 6 adults, plus a full bath upstairs. The downstairs has a large, open space, including a kitchen, living room with an exceptionally comfy couch for stretching out, and a large dining table for meals, plus a full bath and a laundry room. The house is stocked with good books and has a wonderful front porch on which to read them! There is a wash area out back for your after-beach needs. The house offers beach chairs and beautiful blue and white towels. Great A/C. We will always remember our few days there very fondly. The host is quick to respond and very helpful! Note: If you plan to bring small children, the host does have a packNplay, but you might want to bring a gate to keep a little one from heading up the stairs.

My family absolutely love this house. The kitchen was and had everything you needed to cook. The bathrooms are modern. There were beach chairs and towels. Internet TV had lots of choices. I love the keyless entryand the exit instructions were clear and easy. I will come back and I recommend this house!

Beautiful home, fantastic location!

We loved staying at the Salt Box 2! The house is so close to the shops and the beach—it made everything about the stay easy. Loved sitting on the porch and meeting friendly neighbors. The house is even prettier than the pictures! It was perfectly well stocked. We never felt like we had to run out to get something we were missing. Very comfortable bed in the master bedroom, and the blackout curtains are so helpful. Great for our group of 5 adults and teens.

Great house in a perfect location

Stayed with my family of 4 (2 daughters - 3 and 6). The house was a good size (even a bit big for us - with a 3rd bedroom we didnt use), clean and had everything we needed for the week. It's a short walk to the beach (1.5 blocks) and Mason Ave with all the shops and restaurants (2.5 blocks). Golf kart was fun to have but not required - if everyone is up for a bit of walking. Check-in and out were a breeze and Anna (the host) was very responsive and helpful on messages through the app. Will stay again!

OMG Awesome Fam Getaway to celebrate 95th BD

Loved, loved the comfy, beachy decor mixed with local art and antiques. The kitchen was excellent for cooking with an entire spice rack, and every utensil/appliance that you could ask for. Large coffee maker and grinder for the bring your own coffee snobs like us. Our favorite fam pastime was sitting in the front porch rockers enjoying the warm breeze and waving to neighbors as they walked dogs and kids. One block access to the beach where we easily found parking to unload kayaks - there are many lovely marshes and deserted beaches to explore. The house had a great flow and feel for 5-6 people and everyone slept great. We brought our own beach chairs and towels however they had everything if we had not, including interesting books and games. Can't think of one thing that I would change!

This home was beautiful, comfortable and well stocked. The host was responsive and even reached out first when we were having trouble getting in (through no fault of the property). If aesthetics are important to you, this is the right pick. Just stunning and ever detail clearly thought out. Also the comfort is top notch with the primary bed and sectional space fa being a perfect spot to relax after a day at the beach, which is 2 blocks away. We will be back to Salt Box II next year!!
