Great short stay!

Lovely Stay

Clean, comfy, and stocked with everything you need! The beds were specially comfortable. On a busy road, but close to everything. We definitely will stay again.

Higgins Hideout

We all had a great time staying at this cottage.It was very clean, had everything we needed and lots of room for our family of seven. The location is great, close to everything. We hope to return again.

Perfect overnight

The house was perfect for family friends staying together. Location allowed for trip down au sable river and is close to multiple places to eat. We enjoyed the fire pit and s’mores ingredients the host left. Beds were comfy, house was clean, Tara was very responsive to all our needs. Would stay again for sure.

We loved everything about our stay. The location was convenient to make more memories at Higgins. Home was clean and roomy for our group. We could tell that every detail was thought of by the host. This place is a gem. Highly recommend.

Long Weekend at Higgins

Family and friends drove up to spend a long weekend near Higgins Lake. We’ve headed up north for years and have never stayed near Higgins. Beautiful lake! The house is clean and comfortable and a relaxing space for our home base. Great kitchen. We would stay here again. Thank you for sharing it.

nice long driveway to accommodate multiple vehicles. Beds were comfy. House was large enough for 5 big guys and all of our riding gear.

Loved open space living area , living room with large sectional reclining sofa opened to a moderately stocked kitchen & large table for eating & playing games. Two baths, two bedrooms with king size beds & third bedroom with two queens - though mattresses need replacing on some beds. TV’s in every room. (BYO streaming device) House was very quiet & clean! Great place, nice weekend!

Family reunion

This is a wonderful place. Great space, clean and homey. Great location. The kitchen is well stocked and CLEAN. Tara was very responsive to any questions I had. A pleasure to work with. I will definitely be renting this property again. We had a wonderful stay. Thanks for sharing your piece of paradise with us!

They thought of everything

We had an amazing stay! The owner thought of everything! From the nightlights all throughout the home, the box fans, the cute s’mores kit, shower with removable handle to help shower the kiddos and the kcups. So many great little touches! We stay at vacation rentals 2-4 times a year and are quite picky! We would stay here again without hesitation. Wonderful location and the beds were also super comfy. Thank you so much for a great mini vacation!

Wonderful Stay

Wonderful place to stay. Everything feels new. One suggestions. You need washcloths most don’t pack those. Also I would add a plastic pitcher or too in the kitchen along with a hand mixer. I’ve stayed at many Vrbo these always there.

The house was very nice, clean, and well-maintained. The smart bidet was a great bonus for us! I especially appreciated how promptly the owners responded to our messages and resolved any issues. Overall, we had a pleasant stay!

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay. Hosts communicated well from time of booking through time of check out. The home was stocked with everything we needed plus more. Location is perfect, just a short drive off the free way, and easy to locate. Plenty of parking space, friendly, neighbors, but the washer and dryer was my favorite part. Well water creates the best smelling laundry! We will be returning soon. So happy we found this gem! Thanks for the memories my family and I created.
