Excellent guest house for two couples driving up from Wisconsin. Great home base for a weekend of rockhounding and site-seeing. Very clean.. Easy checkin, very good communication with host.

An excellent property to use when visiting Houghton and the Keweenaw Peninsula. It had everything you needed at the end of a long day hiking to allow us to relax and rejuvenate for the next adventure.

We had a wonderful stay at the Guest House. It was so well stocked there was nothing we wished we had that wasn't there. Communication with Irina couldn't have been easier. Comfy beds, and furniture which is important to us. We are very hopeful that we might stay again in the future.

Great stay and within close proximity to just about everywhere we needed to go. The hosts were very helpful and kind when I had questions. Loved being able to sit outside and have coffee and walk in the evening as it’s a quiet street for the most part. Perfect size for our family and having a laundry was a huge help. Will definitely stay again when we visit.

We loved our visit to the guest house and the Houghton area! The location was perfect for us to visit our many favorite spots. It was really convenient to be so close to Houghton with its restaurants and shopping!The house was wonderful! It was clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable! The setting is beautiful! Irina was a wonderful host. She was great at communication and very attentive to any needs we might have had. We're looking forward to our next stay there!

Thank you, Tim, for your review. We are very happy you liked the guest house location. Local people call it a premium location:) It is a 5-7 minute ride from downtown, groceries stores, and the MTU campus and trails. Plus, it is private with a good distance from other houses. What could be better?

Beautiful location! We went for a walk around the neighborhood & it was lovely. Location is perfect for travel to Houghton & Chassell.Very nice home, we will definitely stay again.

Some came to UP for the recreational purpose. The university, MTU trails, and grocery stores are just minutes away. It was a pleasure hosting you. We hope to see you back:).

Perfect Stay Near Houghton

This is a great guest house with two nice bedrooms and an open plan kitchen/dining/living room. It is very convenient to Houghton and the Keweenaw and had absolutely everything needed for a very nice stay.

This was our second stay at this property, and it was every bit as wonderful as the first. We stay at quite a few nice VRBO properties throughout the year, and this one easily wins the award for the cleanest!The home is extremely comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could possibly need, the beds are all very comfortable, and we especially enjoyed relaxing on the patio each evening.The location is also great, just minutes from Michigan Tech and downtown Houghton, making it incredibly convenient for us.With our son attending MTU, we expect to make plenty of trips to Houghton over the next few years, and this will absolutely be our first choice every time we visit. It truly feels like our home away from home in Houghton. Highly recommended!

A bit of a challenge to find the first time, especially in the dark. Read the instructions carefully, then read them again. House is very clean with all amenities you will need for 3-4 people for your visit to the Keweenaw. Close to Houghton, golf course, and MTU. Good communication. thanks!
