My third time staying atPerch Lake cabin. Love the authentic log cabin, and fieldstone fireplace makes for a relaxing experience. Love the covered deck which was perfect for the rainy weather during our stay we were able to enjoy the outdoor view and stay dry. The cabin has everything needed for a relaxing getaway. We loved the location and the appearance of the home. It was quiet and restful. The property manager was really sweet. We needed to rest and we did just that. And it's about an hour from Lake Michigan. There is a little store nearby that is like a small grocery store. Had all we needed and the people were friendly and helpful. Check it out for yourselves!

Cottage was much nicer and more spacious than I expected from pics on website. Very clean. The lake was rather mucky, and many spots your feet/legs sink in, however we enjoyed the kayaks and the stay. Nice neighbors as well.

Such a great spot for relaxation. Perch lake is a smaller lake without all the traffic, very quiet and relaxing. The cabin is beautiful and cozy. Rented the pontoon and spent a day letting the kids fish and a night sitting around the bonfire. Will definately visit again. There are quite a few places to eat in the area.

We stayed at this lake house for five nights for a family vacation. The water level was low and the lake was really muddy. However, the lake house was amazing, clean, and the host was very responsive. We also rented the pontoon. It was a little difficult to get started, and we had to get in the water and push it out out of the mud away from the dock. All in all, we would rent this property again, we had an amazing week and the property has really nice amenities.

House was clean and comfortable. Appreciated the extra paper products, garbage bags, and some kitchen items like sugar and vegetable oil. Very responsive to questions and concerns. We had fun fishing and appreciated the use of the boats. Only critique would be the pots and pans really need to be replaced and walk out basement could be a little cozier for guests to sleep. We planned on using the sleeper sofa as another bedroom but was quite cold with minimal rugs and furnishings. Overall we had a great time and would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Communication with owner and property manager was good. Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. Very quiet and peaceful setting. The deck was a great spot to enjoy the evenings listening to the sounds of nature with beautiful views of the lake.

I couldn't be more happy with our stay. It was very relaxing. The pontoon boat was definitely worth renting. Hopefully we will be able to come back again sometime.

Clare and Farewell are close by with a range of stores and eating places. We got some delicious food at a beautiful Thai restaurant in Clare and also ate at a very friendly neighborhood restaurant called The Nest. Dollar General right next door of The Nest came in handy too. The cabin is in a very quiet neighborhood.

A beautiful quiet setting on the lake. The lodge is gorgeous with wooden beams and wooden structure throughout. Kitchen is well equipped, water pressure is good and water gets super hot. Hosts are quick to respond to questions and very helpful. We didn’t get to enjoy the outdoors much because the temperature was below zero for our entire stay! The beautiful snow covered lake was spectacular scenery out the big windows. We enjoyed our stay very much!
