Questa casa è meravigliosa in tutte le stagioni. Si tratta di un paradiso per la pesca e la caccia al cervo di Steelhead e un paradiso per la pesca a mosca in estate, situato su uno dei migliori buchi di pesca del Methow e circondato da 5 acri di pascoli, boschi e lungofiume. In inverno c'è una selvaggia collina da slittino. In estate, prendere il sole in piscina mentre osservi le montagne o saltare nel fiume e galleggiare sulle camere d'aria interne fino al buco della piscina della città. Salta nella vasca idromassaggio dopo una giornata trascorsa a sciare, a caccia, a pescare, in bicicletta e ammirare la spettacolare vista del fondovalle con le cascate sullo sfondo e il fiume Methow a 30 metri a ovest.
Questa proprietà è orientata verso ovest, quindi riceve luce e tramonti più tardi rispetto a qualsiasi punto della valle. La casa condivide 5 acri con un'altra mia proprietà in affitto chiamata Aliwood. VRBO # 503768. La combinazione dei due rende questo un composto perfetto per un ritiro di famiglia o un matrimonio. L'interno della casa è ricco di pareti di pino nodoso, un enorme focolare in pietra e viste a bizzeffe. tutte le camere sono dotate di lussuosi piumini da lodge e lenzuola Ralph Lauren. Tutte le camere offrono viste con il padrone con due portici da cui sorseggiare il caffè del mattino. La stanza a castello ha sei letti a castello, (ma ne avranno quattro dopo la ristrutturazione), tutti con le coperte colorate di Pendelton. Questa camera ha una porta sul ponte che si affaccia sul fiume. La cucina è nuova con servizi moderni, un sotto zero e un piano cottura a sei fuochi. Ci sono spazi da pranzo al coperto e all'aperto. La casa è a solo 5 miglia da Twisp, 7 miglia da Winthrop, 25 minuti da Mazama e Sun Mountain Lodge per sentieri curati o 25 minuti da Loop Loop per la discesa. There are field mice in the valley and occassionally in the house.We have cute little live traps but mice can be are a part of the experience.

This was our sixth year staying at the Fishing Lodge and it’s a great property for our three generation family vacation. The grandkids love sleeping together in the bunk room and the pool keeps them occupied. When it gets really hot they all go down and cool off in the river. The house has lots of space for everyone to spread out, and the kitchen with the island allows for several cooks to collaborate on meal prep. The casual furnishings give it a homey vibe, and help us all feel comfortable and relaxed. Just what a vacation should be.

We had a great stay enjoying spring time in the Methow. The house is very quirky and fun. The outdoor gathering spaces are incredible, as are the views! Great space for a large group to gather.

We had the most amazing stay! We hosted a very small wedding for 16 people! The house, the backdrop for the pictures, to amazing table for us all to sit at for dinner, it was all exactly as I had pictured and hoped for!

Ali was fantastic, a great communicator! The home is perfectly described in the pictures: inviting, homey, and great for a family or friends' weekend. The Fishing Lodge on a beautiful river, with mountains in the background. Great welcome, she answered all my questions. Will definitely be back!

We stay here every year
It’s a wonderful house and we have rented it for the last 3 years and plan to continue each time we come to Winthrop. Great for groups.

Beautiful views and rustic charm
This is a great place for a getaway. Such beautiful views. Very charming rustic feel. Enjoyed the pool and the lodge very much.

Our group of nine friends had a wonderful stay at the Fishing Lodge! This home could not be in a more perfect location. Being in the pool & hot tub overlooking the river with beautiful mountain views in the distance was just wonderful. Naps on the swinging lounges couldn't be beat & floating in the river was just lovely! Close to both Twisp & Winthrop. The house does have some quirky plumbing so be mindful of that (just so you are aware!) We would definitely return to this lovely home!

Quirky plumbing could bring all kinds of things to mind for review readers and I've never gotten that one before. We have lots of hot water , good pressure no clogged drains. Just one kitchen faucet that leaks a little at the base and into the sink. no one has brought it up all summer,its so minor, and it just needs to be tightened down which I will do when I return to Twisp!

Great getaway
Amazing, it had everything you read about the property and more. Our family loved the fact that everything was there and you didn’t have to go anywhere. The pool and hot tub was fantastic and everyone enjoyed it, especially the grandkids. Hoping we get an opportunity to stay there again.

Multi-generation family vacation spot
This was our fifth year at the Fishing Lodge and it’s the perfect spot for our three-generation family from ages 7 to 72. The grandkids love the pool and the swinging beds in the “treehouse” space. And sleeping altogether in the bunk room. The adults love relaxing by the pool and watching the sun set over the river. And with how the house and outdoor space is situated you have lots of privacy. Inside the house has lots of space for spreading out and rustic decor that makes for casual relaxing. We’ve already reserved our week for summer 2026!

Great weekend / Great house!
This house was perfect. The setting on the river is amazing, and the house was great for the three families that shared the house. Great house for kids with the pool and playground. Already planning our next trip out there.

Great stay!
We had a wonderful time at the house. It was cozy, with lots of room for our group of three families. The kids loved the outdoor space and sledding hill, and the adults loved the hot tub and relaxing by the fire. The home is in a beautiful location and close to the town of Twisp. We will be back!

Amazing family vacation
We had such a wonderful stay at the Fishing Lodge. Ali is beyond responsive, and her thoughtfulness towards the youngest of our group was beyond anything we have ever experienced in all our years of parenting. We hope to be back soon!

Beautiful Property
We came to attend the Winthrop Car Show in Sept. We brought 6 classic cars, and the host was most gracious letting us park everything on the property! The house and grounds are stunningly beautiful. I would highly recommend this property… we will most definitely be back!!

Great multi-generation vacation spot
This homey lodge is the perfect spot for a multi-generation vacation. Bunks for the kids and comfortable beds for all the adults. The pool just outside the door was a big hit with everyone. The long table in the “tree house” provided a shady dinner spot on a hot day. This was our third year at The Fishing Lodge and we’ve already booked our vacation for next year.

Great summer getaway!
We had a fantastic time at the fishing lodge. Ali is an amazing host and the pool was a perfect escape from the unusually high temps. The setting is beautiful by the river with the mountain views, and the deck is the perfect place to relax. We had plenty of space to relax and unwind, and the house if furbished very well. We' love the Methow Valley and will be back to Ali's house again!

Amazing Thanksgiving Weekend with the Family
Absolutely fell in love with this beautiful property and the property owner Ali was so helpful. This house was just perfect to get our family together for the Thanksgiving holiday. The kids spent so many hours sledding (adults too!) We loved the hot tub, giant fireplace, and firepit. The views of the river and mountains are spectacular. So many wonderful memories made this weekend!

Lovely property!
Beautiful grounds. Did not disappoint. Nicely maintained house, exactly as listed. The host, Ali, was very responsive and helped us out with multiple requests. The river next to the property was absolutely breathtaking, and the private pool was a big hit with the kids! Would definitely recommend this property!

Ski Buddies returns to Twisp/Methow valley, 2023
We love this home it’s rugged, cowboy luxury in a stunning location next to the Twisp river. Sitting in the inground, hot tub, looking at bald eagles in the tree above is just as very special experience.. We will definitely be back next year.

This property sits on the most beautiful bends in the river and the best for fishing. Also in July and august, offers a swimming hole and beach.One of the few private homes for rent with a pool. Orchard fruit in late July and August.Great bird watching.It is truly a private resort!
