**The Sundestin Beach Resort is undergoing a building renovation. There will be noise and dust during construction hours (typically from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm daily M-F with makeup days on weekends). The outdoor pool (not heated), outdoor hot tub, fitness center and Sea Store are open. The splash pad, indoor pool and Phat Fish Restaurant are closed. Front building parking is somewhat limited – guests may be directed to the overflow lot across the street during high-demand dates. We apologize for any inconvenience. **

Sundestin 802 – The Weekender is a charming 1-bedroom, 1 and a half-bathroom condo located on the 8th floor, offering stunning views and a highly desirable Destin location. This well-appointed retreat comfortably sleeps up to 5 guests with a king bed in the master bedroom, a sleeper sofa, and a single ottoman sleeper in the living area. Enjoy relaxing mornings and unforgettable sunsets from your private balcony, and unwind in a thoughtfully designed space perfect for couples or small families returning year after year.

SunDestin is a vacation rental complex conveniently located in the heart of Destin, less than half a mile from Big Kahuna's waterpark. It is unmatched in terms of facilities and guest services: check out the two pools (outdoor and heated indoor), Splash pad for kids, exercise room, steam room, sauna, whirlpool, massage therapy, onsite restaurant, tiki bar, and gift shop, with a front desk staffed 24/7. There are also coin-operated laundry facilities on each floor.

Perfect stay. Stayed for 6 days. Had a small issue with the balcony door which was fixed within the hour. Perfect stay.

Nice quick family getaway

We enjoyed our stay ! However, the pull out bed was not all too comfortable, and there were a few light switches, along with the fan that did not work at the time of our stay. Overall, all was well. We made do and had a great vacation (:

Construction noise

The listing stated that there could be construction, but they were completely renovating the unit right below us. The noise was terrible and constant. The unit was nice and location was good, but the noise ruined the experience.

Wonderful

Bath tub was slow to drain for showers, but the water stays hot enough for the baths that we enjoy. I liked the drying rack on the balcony. Wifi was a little weak at times but nothing too irritating. Tile floor was cold to my bare feet but my daughter appreciated it. All the appliances were so clean like they were brand new. I didnt like having to checkin for a key, I understand for safety reasons, but after a long road trip, I dont want to wait in line to get to my room. All the workers were friendly & great too.
