I noted your review regarding the VRBO required insurance policy. “The reason I knocked off a star is because during check out I got a surprise fee for required insurance for my weekend or allowing unrefundable access to 1500 in my bank account. I paid the fee begrudgingly, but wish that the owner would just get their own property insured instead of surprising me in checkout. This is classic drip pricing and is a very bad sales tactic.” This has nothing to do with the owner of the property, but is required by VRBO. This is something that is the guests choice (when you book the property.) VRBO requires guests to choose insurance to protect them for any damage they may cause, it has nothing to do with the owner. Any VRBO rental anywhere will require this fee or the $1500 hold. We would appreciate it if you updated the review and state any negative feelings you have about the VRBO required insurance toward them and not toward our property.
