Our stay at the Bottlehouse was amazing. The kitchen, dock and overall house was perfect for our family gathering. Dan and Michelle exceeded my expectations. They went the extra mile to meet a couple of our needs. I would highly recommend staying here.

Everything about this place was better than expected. The kitchen was well appointed inside and outside with a Blackstone Griddle, a Traeger grill and a smoker. I was impressed by the owner’s clarity of information in the guide regarding “how-to’s” and “what-to-do’s”. The location of the property was excellent as to enjoying other activities in the area. This one is a winner!

We really enjoyed our time at this property. The house had everything that you needed and plenty of space for all the guests.

Great property, designed and furnished with great taste. Unlike other VRBO properties we stayed at, the kitchen appliances and dishware were first rate. Would highly recommend to others.

Great location, beautiful and wonderfully equipped house, easy quick access to Sandpoint yet very peaceful neighborhood, perfect for my wife and I, our three children, their spouses, and our three grandchildren (7-20). Nightly s’mores at a wonderful campfire (wonderfully safe!), evening chats outdoors……. All around wonderful place.

Week Away

We were very pleased with our stay. The house is very well equipped. It is spacious and comfortable. The fenced in backyard is a huge plus for pets!

Dan and Michelle were wonderful Hosts! We had an issue & Michelle was available immediately. The house was so well stocked with everything in mind for all ages. It was super clean and had an abundance of linens. It was a perfect home on the water for my whole family of 14!! We will definitely come again! Thank you Dan and Michelle!

Short lake getaway

We had a wonderful stay at The Bottle House. The home was furnished with all we needed. A very peaceful bay. The lake was not to busy this week! We caught fish off the dock and played games in the evenings on the deck. There was good shade all around the home.

Anniversary Getaway

The lake front bottle house is the perfect getaway! It was so well stocked with everything you could possibly want or need. The property is quiet and private which made for an amazing romantic getaway to spend some really special time reconnecting. From relaxing in the hot tub under the stars to exploring the lake together out on the kayaks it was truly a wonderful and rejuvenating experience. We can't wait to comeback ❤️

Such a peaceful pleasant getaway!

What a lovely home and property. We brought our dogs and it was perfect; fenced yard, peaceful setting, great location out of town but not too far away. Loved the water and the kayaks/SUPs for our use. Such a calm energy, we loved every second of it!! Wonderfully equipped and very comfortable. Thanks so much Dan & Michelle!

Stunning property!

I recently stayed at The Bottle House with friends and family and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our accommodations. The home is nestled in a lovely neighborhood and yet has plenty of privacy. The lake access was perfect. Inside, the home was incredibly well appointed with tasteful decor, comfortable furnishings, cozy bed linens and everything we could possibly use in the kitchen. Truly a beautiful vacation home and the perfect place for making memories with friends and family. We can’t wait to return!

Wonderful stay!

We had an amazing stay with family. The house was clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked and great for family meals. The hosts were great. We had a little trouble with a lock and they reached out right away and communicated with us about all aspects of our stay. We played cards on the deck every evening. It was a little too hot to use the hot tub during our stay - but it was set up and ready. We had a lovely stay and highly recommend this beautiful home.

Beautiful Home!

The home is very private and surrounded by beautiful natural wooded landscape. Deer were seen walking in the front yard! The dock and the water were a big hit with all my boys - they loved kayaking and paddle boarding, and making a fire down by the water. The owners thought of lots of details down to the cozy throw blankets for the evening chill around the fire pit. So close to downtown Sandpoint too for shopping. We enjoyed every minute of our stay, thank you for opening up your home to us.

Perfect

The property and the view was absolutely beautiful and the house had pretty much everything our group of 16 needed and more. The one thing we would have like to have had but didn’t, Michelle ordered right away so future guests would be fully covered. The owners go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and they are very kind and responsive. The property is an easy 30 minute drive away from silverwood and only a few minutes from Sandpoint which has everything you would need during your stay. We absolutely loved the area and have every intention of coming back to The Bottle House for future vacations.

Beautiful Private Home on the Water

We had a wonderful weekend for a family reunion. Beautiful private property on the water. We used the hot tub, fire pit by the lake, gas fire pit on the deck & BBQ. Kitchen had everything and the bedrooms were fabulous. They even had a kayak and water sport toys for us to use. Quick bike ride to downtown Sandpoint. Owners were quick to answer any questions we had about how to use the fireplace or what type of coffee machine they had. We will be back again for sure! Thanks for such a great weekend! Highly recommend!

What a gem!

We had a fantastic stay at your property! The house was very clean, spacious, and well stocked, with top notch appliances. I absolutely love cooking breakfast on that massive outdoor griddle. The river is one of the most perfect paddleboarding spots I've ever encountered. VERY mellow with lots of wildlife to look at and nature sounds to enjoy. I recommend taking a left off the dock and follow the river upstream till it ends. It's just pure bliss! This place is out of town, but not so far that we couldn't get into town easily. We took the kids on a short bike ride across the long bridge into Sandpoint for the day and had such a lovely time. Thank you for hosting! We will be back for sure.

Thanks for sharing our space, Dustin! I love that row upstream. Because of it, I was inspired to order "Where the Crawdad Sings" to stock in the house. Come to find out, the author is from Idaho! I also love that ride across the bridge. It is so beautiful! I took so many photos last year on that bridge, strangely enough, of the spider activity with the weeds, water and sunrise in the background. It was magical. Thanks again for your visit!

We will be back!

We lived to the fullest here. Loved the cozy blankets and beds. The owners worked hard to stock it all well! The photos don’t do it justice. I love the art work. We used the hot tub, fished (even caught one, super big, of course), kayaked, floated, roasted hot dogs on the fire, and perused their bottle library. The kids rode their bikes to town bridge jumped after renting jet skis then plugged their x-box in for gaming for down time. We had a learning curve to the a/c’s but once we established a routine, that was no problem! The neighborhood is friendly and the home is very private. Suggestion: you stated there would be 2 keys. 1 was fine but it would be nice to have 1 extra. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Lakefront Ponderay

We recently had a family reunion at this wonderful lakefront house on Ponderay (Lake Pend Oreille) - 9 people, ages 10-80 yo with dogs. It was great! I would stay here again without hesitation. The house was super clean, well stocked in everything with VRBO pictures that do not due the place justice. Very well stocked kitchen in both staples and kitchen tools. Kitchen very open with den so easy to cook and hang out with family. Back porch was wonderful to sit on and look at the beautiful view or watch the kids on the dock from. Multiple grills. Working hot tub that we enjoyed at night and on rainy days. House well labeled for ease of use. Digital guide very detailed and super helpful. Host very responsive to questions. Easy boat launch close to the house. Loved hanging out on the dock and using kayaks/paddleboards. House is in no wake zone which is great for kids playing off dock, kayaking, paddleboarding. There is also not hardly any boat traffic in front of house. It took us about 20-25 minutes on way to get to larger lake that we could start our jet motor in for tubing, etc. They views on the way to the larger lake were also beautiful. Loved it!
