Seduto sul lato di una collina offre a questa proprietà ben curata, di due acri, magnifiche viste sull'oceano da ogni stanza, pur mantenendo la vicinanza alla spiaggia. Sia che tu scelga di fare una breve passeggiata per la spiaggia (pochi minuti a piedi, letteralmente a 300 passi dalla casa!) o in auto verso una delle tante spiagge situate lungo la strada (pochi minuti in auto), questa proprietà è un rifugio perfetto.

We had a wonderful stay, we had a few questions along the way and Jorge and Mindy were always quick to answer! We enjoyed the pool and cabana area after long days at the beach, and it was such a treat to have our laundry taken care of by Maria.

Beautiful property. Amazing view. Gated, very secure and private. Close (5-10 min walk) to 3 beaches and restaurants including ice cream and pizza. Service was included which was great. Lots of room. We hope to go back

The host and caretakers were awesome! We loved Anna Marie. They answered all of our questions and had great recommendations. The views were as spectacular as the photographs. Late night swims in the private pool were a plus. The dogs were friendly.

The million dollar view! The evening sunsets were incredibly beautiful. The manager was very responsive and the service from the staff was definitely a plus.

My family (two teens and parents) had the most wonderful stay at Villa Buena Vista in late March. The house was even more lovely than described and pictured. It is spacious, well-appointed, and the views are stunning. We enjoyed time in the pool and walks to Playa Prieta, which was almost empty each time we visited. The landscaping and bird life around the house are beautiful, even during dry season. We heard howler monkeys every day, and there's a family of them in the trees across the street. The town within walking distance has several restaurant options, and we couldn't get enough of the gelateria! There are several beaches within a 20-min drive, but a highlight was spending the day at Lola's on Playa Avellana (as recommended by the hosts - 1 hour away). We recommend making a reservation beforehand to ensure you get umbrellas and loungers. Ernesto and Ana were wonderful house and groundskeepers - our laundry was done daily, bed linens changed a couple of times, and house swept and tidied up daily. We enjoyed the visits from the dogs, too.Overall, one of our best VRBO stays anywhere. Would highly recommend!

We loved our stay here. The home is spacious & well kept, & in a good central location to many of the places we wanted to visit along the coast. Ernesto the caretaker was on site the whole time & helped us when needed. There was one day that our water line broke, but Ernesto had it fixed within a few hours. Maria was amazing; we were told there would be someone coming to clean/pick up, but we had no idea she would come daily, clean the entire house/pool/patio, & insist on doing all our personal laundry & dishes. What a treat! We especially enjoyed the pool area & spending time on the terrace overlooking the amazing ocean views & witnessing the abundance of tropical birds. The only “drawbacks” were the non-air conditioned common living area & kitchen (the bedrooms are cooled very well), but apparently this is the standard in Costa Rican homes. Also, the beach is more than the 300 paces away as advertised, it is more like a 10-minute walk. The nearest beaches were our favorites of all the beaches we visited during our stay, & it’s a very easy walk other than the steep driveway. Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay & I would highly recommend it!

Beautiful view

Short walk to 3 beautiful beaches and the town of Potrero where we enjoyed several breakfasts at the local Soda and a variety of meals at the many restaurants offered.

Bettina, I'm disappointed to see your rating. The ice maker wasn't broken, it was switched to "off", the issue with the pool chairs and issue with cleaning of one of the showers, could have been resolved quickly by our property manager within a few hours. As you can see from our dozens of reviews, we take great pride in presenting our guests with the best experience ever - with the hope that our guests will communicate with the property manager or directly with us if something isn't working right, instead of after they leave. I'm at least glad that you all enjoyed your visit to our area of Costa Rica.

The view absolutely took our breath away from the moment we arrived, and the bedrooms are comfortable and cool for restful nights. With restaurants and beaches just a short walk away, the location is hard to beat. A favorite morning ritual became sitting outside listening to the birds — especially the one that sounds exactly like a car alarm. You'll know it when you hear it!The entire team made our stay special. The owners provided great information ahead of our trip, and onsite, the caretaker, housekeeper, and property manager were attentive and kind. When we got a flat tire, Ernesto and Jorge helped us change it and directed us to a nearby shop — that kind of hospitality is rare. The sweet on-site dogs were a charming bonus we loved encountering throughout the week.A few things to know:-The main living area and kitchen are not air conditioned and can get quite warm.-The driveway is a steep incline with no sidewalks — walkable, but use caution if you have physical limitations, are with young kids, or it's very hot. We drove most of the week.-The third bedroom has a separate floor and entry, great for privacy but worth noting for families with young children.Overall, a memorable stay with spectacular views and genuine hospitality. We'd absolutely return!

Wonderful week

We had a great week at this house overlooking the ocean. A couple of minor issues that were addressed very quickly by the property manager (eg new hot water heater installed). The location is fantastic and the view is great. The onsite caretakers were wonderful, cleaning the pool, making beds, doing laundry and dishes. We really enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful and beautiful

This home is relaxing, clea,n beautiful and functions great for a vacation in Costa Rica. Our family with three kids had plenty of room and really enjoyed the daily housekeeping and on-site property managers.

Wonderful house on the beach in Costa Rica

This house was the highlight of the trip. I would totally recommend it for a small group. Clean, big rooms, beautiful bedrooms high on a hill with ocean view and breezes in the cute little town of Potrero Guanacaste.

While on our first vacation in Costa Rica in 2003, we came across this incredible house which just spoke to us on some level. The spectacular views, the privacy, the way it made us feel was just magic. To truly understand this, you'd need to know that we definitely are not the most spontaneous people in the world - and we were certainly not in the market for a house. Yet, by the time we returned home four weeks later, we were proud owners of this property.

A decision we have never regretted for a minute. This is now our home - and yours when you visit - and by the time we get to the top of the driveway, our whole demeanor has shifted to peacefulness. By the time we get to the terrace and sink into a wicker chair, our shoulders have dropped about 4 inches (an exaggeration, but suddenly everything is alright). Many of our guests return year after year and have developed into wonderful friendships and we've become acquainted with many lovely families.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

Our home is curated to be warm and welcoming - not meant to be straight out of a magazine in how it looks and feels. We want you to feel comfortable, like you are visiting an old friend - not worrying about sitting on the couch if your bathing suit is still not completely dry ... or wondering if its okay to snag an extra towel if yours is still damp. Enjoy. Anna will take care of you and the house in an unobtrusive way - while Ernesto makes sure the property looks as beautiful as possible.

And if you like dogs, welcome them and encourage them - and you will find them on the terrace looking for your company. If you don't care for animals, no worries, just ignore them and they will head back down to the caretaker's casita.

To ensure your time here is as safe as possible, the home is cleaned before your arrival using disinfectants along with daily cleaning as well.
