Comfortable place with laundry

Our family of four had a great time at this property! It was clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the small balcony. Check-in was super easy, and the info binder was helpful

Great for a family

Place is nice and has everything you need. Master bedroom nice. Second bedroom for kids with kids beds.

Perfect for our family of four - twin beds in the second bedroom were a hit with our two girls. Beds were comfortable. Air conditioning was much appreciated. Garage to park the car safely was great. The location was very centrally located. Close to Old Town, Zoo and Balboa Park. This was the most well stocked place we have ever stayed - dish soap, dish washer pods, laundry pods, soap, shampoo, coffee pods. Kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated the tea kettle. Responses to questions were prompt and helpful. Lovely place and we would definitely recommend. We will stay again if we find ourselves in the area again.

This property was exactly what was advertised. The hosts were kind and accommodating. Within walking distance to a few different restaurants and a short drive to the beach, a mall and other restaurants. We found the unit to be quite quiet and it was enjoyable sitting on the patio and people watching. Will book this exact property in the future!

San Diego

Condo was clean, comfortable bedrooms (spacious master bedroom and bath), kitchen decently stocked with cooking/baking supplies (which we didn’t use) and plates/glasses, etc. Comfortable living area and nice balcony to sit on. Location good, it was short distance to anywhere we went for the most part. Only downside was noise from the freeway (not so much from the airport) but it didn’t affect us while sleeping since bedrooms in the back, but I didn’t enjoy sitting outside as much as I usually do (but I still sat there and enjoyed the view). Overall it was a pleasant stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

4 weeks in Old Towne

This condo is what we expected. Plenty of room for 4. Not a lot of frills. However, the garage space was invaluable! Old Towne is only a mile away, with other amenities along the way. Wonderful restaurants are a mile away in the other direction. Great freeway access. Close to everything. The unit could use a deep cleaning, and an upgrade to the linens would be welcome. A larger, comfortable bed in the Primary bedroom would be a nice add. My husband is over 6' and the bed was not comfortable for him. We would stay here again. Location, location, location.

Excessive fee

The stay was enjoyable and the location is great. The only issue I have with this host is that the cleanup deposit required is EXCESSIVE. It equates to almost another nights stay. He says that it's needed so that his cleanup crew is adequately compensated. He also requires his occupants to clean, empty trash, and do dishes before leaving so what's left for his cleanup crew to do? I think it's just a scam to get more money that he keeps for himself.

While I can appreciate your comments on the cleaning fee, you have to understand San Diego is a very expensive town and we pay our cleaners a living wage. We only ask that people take out trash and load the dishwasher because sometimes the cleaner does not get in the day of departure and that attracts pests if it’s not picked up. It’s actually a fairly standard request across all Vacation rentals. if you think cleaning a two bedroom 2 1/2 bath unit is limited to taking out the trash and cleaning the dishes. Then I would be hard-pressed to see you be happy with dirty sheets, dirty floors, and a dirty bathroom and a dirty shower. And I will point out that you get to agree to all the fees upfront. Nothing was pulled on you. You agreed to all the line item fees when you booked the unit. You could’ve just said no. We will happily continue to pay our Cleaners a living wage and we will happily do so because it leaves our units impeccably clean, and people love that. Vacation Rentals by Aaron

The hosts were very accomodating and quick to respond to our messages, everything is exactly as pictured in the listing, and it is in a great location for everywhere we went during our San Diego trip. If we ever return to SD, I would check to see if this place is available, and would stay again only if they have updated bedroom furniture, the master bed was not comfortable and squeaked loudly every time we moved in it, I had a backache my entire trip from it after the first night and had to retreat to sleeping on the couch. Other than that it is a great place.
