Historic FarmHouse with Goats & Glass Blowing

Located on Thomley’s Christmas Tree Farm, home to the only Glassblowing Hot Shop in Mississippi. Featured on HGTV’s “Hometown”, we welcome fans of the show. The house is 2,400sqft. New granite countertops and Wifi. We have 16 goats & 16 baby goats. Kidding season is Mar-April. The Tree Farm is busy from Nov 1- Dec 23. The GlassBlowing studio is seasonal and stays busy Feb-April & Oct-Dec. There are dozens of food options inside of 5min. Concerning dogs, please use a leash and good judgment. If you plan to leave your dogs unattended at the house, it’s best to bring a crate.
The Space:
The farm has been in my family for 100 years. The Farmhouse was built in 1960. There are 3 Bedrooms (King/Queen/Queen)+ a Twin Daybed with a Twin trundle in the den. The house has been remodeled but we've kept a rustic charm. The back porch is perfect for early mornings on the swing. There is a giant magnolia back there that is beautiful. We encourage guests to walk and explore the farm. The Christmas trees are beautiful as are the animals.

Guest access:
We have a lot of buildings on the farm, but the first house you come to will have a carport. That is the farmhouse. There’s a nice fenced in backyard, not far from your back door is our Glass Blowing studio, and the goat barn. The Christmas tree farm is seasonal as is the glass blowing, however, we are here often feeding goats, and working in the trees
Other things to note
There is a glassblowing studio located on the farm. You can schedule appointments to blow glass Oct-Dec & Feb-April at Hotglassms,com
We have Managed this property for 2 years and are so called "SuperHosts" on affiliate platforms. We are serious about you having a 5 Star Experience, the following rules are to make sure we too have a 5 Star Experience.
A word about Visitors:
* Our insurance does not cover your guests.
*The simple solution is No Visitors, No Parties. We do make small exceptions but their behavior is your responsibility.
*If you have visitors who wish to stay the night, we can modify your reservation to account for them. Its $30 per person, per night extra. This solves the visitor problem, they are now guests.
Ours is a working farm, there are machines and everything is not childproof.
*No Smoking in the house.

Great place to stay with dogs!

Great location, clean and well-decorated home and a small fenced yard. We greatly appreciated being able to stay at this quaint farm property and our poodles loved it!

Cozy, comfortable, well-stocked, clean, and the perfect location. Farm animals, cats, glass blowing, Christmas trees, and a lovely house make this the perfect getaway for anyone. The host is super friendly and helpful. This literally is the perfect place to stay when you are in Hattiesburg!

Lovely home!

Outstanding home- clean, welcoming, comfortable and perfect location for our stay. It is quiet and has a lovely back porch to enjoy coffee or dining outdoors. Could not have asked for a better place to stay! Would absolutely stay there again.

Interesting farmhouse

The host, Jeremy, was a pleasure to meet. We saw the goats and the glass blowing center. The stay was perfect for us to be close to our grand daughter`s wedding!!!

Everything was fantastic! The house was welcoming, comfortable, and all we needed. The host is a great person who was very easy to communicate with, and took the time to help when needed. Also took us to see the goat feeding. Pigs, turkeys, and the coolest barn cats ever. Will definitely stay again next year.

We loved our stay and the sweet visits with the cats and goats. We appreciated that there were no harsh chemical smells in products used at the house. We found everything we needed there. All the places we wanted to visit were under 30 minutes away. We absolutely loved the trees and their beautiful aroma.

Family stay

Went to town for a wedding. Family had plenty of room to stay together here to visit and relax. Great to get to see Christmas trees and goats and glass. Home was clean and stocked. Owner very attentive and helpful. Great place.

Absolutely incredible

Our stay at the Thomley Farm House was incredible. The biggest highlights was the goats, pot belly pigs, a turkey and of course the farm cats Ivy and Boo. The farm house was very spacious and in close proximity of so many things. Jeremy and Lindsey the owners were so very nice. Highly recommend! Loved our stay

Family time on the Farm

I had my son and 2 year old grandson for a weekend getaway. I got to blow a glass pumpkin at the Hotspot shop, after a visit with the goats, pigs and turkeys.

Loved it!

We loved our stay at the goat and Christmas tree farm. Also included was a very vocal turkey, a pig and the barn cats, Boo and Ivy. An added bonus was the glass blowing shop where Jeremy invited us in to watch him demonstrate his glass blowing skills. The home was very inviting and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful house on the farm

We stayed here becuase a running race was held here and we also scheduled time in the glass blowing studio located on the property. It was very comfortable and clean. Also so relaxing. We walked around the Christmas tree farm and looked at the goats etc. Area resturants were only minutes away. We would definitely stay there again.

Home away from home

This is our second stay at Thomley's Tree farm and it was as incredible as the first stay!! I cannot imagine a more pleasant host and hostess. A Christmas tree was set up in the great room and we got to decorate it as a family since we won't be together Christmas Day. The farm is buzzing with families looking for the perfect Christmas Tree and this is certainly the best place to come to!

Our hosts were amazing, they were putting up a fresh Christmas tree when we arrived. The house was as seen in the pictures. Were walked the Christmas tree farm each morning and were greeted by pot belly pigs, goats, and turkeys. We got to see a proposal in the Christmas trees, watced a school children's field trip. But the thing about our stay was the friendliness of the people on the farm and the fun blowing a glass Christmas tree ornament. We will be back.

If you're looking for a unique stay in Hattiesburg, this is the place to be. The farm is in a beautiful location yet is still convenient to shopping and restaurants. We stayed here the week of Thanksgiving to visit my family. Even though this was the busy season for the Christmas tree farm, we never felt encroached on or disturbed by any of the visitors to the farm. In fact, our dogs loved watching all the people from the fenced in backyard. The house is well appointed with everything you need in the kitchen and all linens, towels, soap, toilet paper is provided. The host, Jeremy, is so welcoming and kind and very responsive to anything you may need.

Great experience!!

We loved our stay at the farm! There were many things available to entertain kids and adults. We fed all the animals, learned about glass blowing, frolicked in the wildflowers, played in the Christmas trees, visited the gift shops, and explored the town. The farm is a short drive from anything you’d need, which was very convenient. We will definitely be back! :)

Lovely farm property

Warm welcoming house where you can spend time swinging on a porch swing, watching goats wall past the Christmas trees and the cats come to visit. We had a party of six adults, and we all fit comfortably. Home is well stocked and very clean. John was kind and accommodating. Jeremy communicated well before our arrival. Don’t miss a trip down to the goat barn.

Perfect stay for our family

This is by far our favorite property where we have stayed. It is spacious, comfortable, and clean. The beds were very comfortable, there were plenty of towels for the bathroom, and no detail seemed to be forgotten. It has a large covered porch in the back with plenty of seating and a porch swing. The backyard is also fenced which was great for our dogs. We were in town for our daughter’s college graduation. We were pretty busy with graduation activities so didn’t have as much time to enjoy the property as much as we would have liked. We did make it down once to see the goats and pigs! We would definitely stay here again.

A real life farm on the edge of town

We were in town to visit family and rented this property and the other rental apartment on the Thomley Christmas Tree Farm. We found the farmhouse incredibly spacious and comfortable with lots of thoughtful extras that made our stay nice. There was coffee already stocked as well as shampoo and other toiletry items. The beds were comfortable and the large living room was a relaxing retreat. The farm is just beautiful, especially at sunrise. My kids loved walking to say hi to the goats every morning and meeting the incredibly friendly lady turkey. There was tons of “farm stuff” to take pictures of with the kids. It was also great being able to have coffee with my family in the unit next door. Highly recommend this rental, especially for families!

A very beautiful, cozy, clean, well stocked stay at the farm with the goats, pigs, turkeys, and our two new cat friends here at this historic family farm! Our host, Jeremy was so nice, helpful, and was available for any questions. We were running behind and he graciously let us pack our things! The farm is absolutely beautiful and a good place to get away from the busy hustle of work and to relax and recharge. I will be coming back next time I need to visit my family! There is plenty of space both indoors and outdoors to enjoy, the garden is beautifully situated and perfect for watching the goats wander the fields. Make sure if you need a nice quiet place to stay in Hattiesburg, you make this place your top choice!
