Beautiful waterfront lodge, private dock and breath taking views of Smith Mt.

The Lodge at Stoney Ridge is on Leesville Lake. This 3 bedroom, 3 bath lodge is on 7 wooded acres, features a swimming pool, (open Memorial Day through Labor Day), sloping path to a 2 level private boat dock. There is a tree house and firepit area. One private master suite with queen bed (sleeps 2) and full master bath. Guest bedroom with queen bed (sleeps 2) and full guest bath. On the lower level, there is a bunk room that sleeps 4 (twin bunk beds) with a full bath and family room to include Dish Satellite TV. A 300 square ft., fully glass enclosed sunporch with amazing seasonal views of Leesville Lake, Smith Mt, and the dam.

Three separate outside eating areas with tables and chairs to include campfire area, raised side deck, and pool side. The campfire area has a picnic table, ample fireside seating, and a firepit to enjoy a campfire and cook smores, hotdogs, pie irons, etc. (firewood provided). The raised side deck has a patio table and seating for 3 protected by an oversized umbrella. A propane BBQ grill is located near the pool deck for grilling use. The pool has a patio table, and seating for 8.

Hiking trail leads down to the private dock where you can tie up your power boat or personal water craft. The two level dock allows for covered boat parking and large sundeck above with ample seating.
Two kayaks are provided for your enjoyment. The lake is 17 miles long from dam to dam with 2 marinas to service your boat. The housing association has its own boat ramp and dock to use, or there are public boat ramps nearby. This dock accesses Leesville Lake only. Smith Mt Lake can be accessed at Mitchel's Point Marina or Smith Mt State Park (20-minute drive).

The area offers multi-lake access, hiking trails, wineries and tours, antique shops, tank museum (Danville) and Liberty University (Lynchburg). The Lodge at Stoney Ridge has beautiful panoramic views of Smith Mt Dam and gorgeous sunsets. This 7-acre wooded lot is frequented by deer, turkey, and other wildlife.

Spring is beautiful as the forest and lake come to life. Summer is the perfect time to enjoy the lake and the pool. The Fall season offers a beautiful view of the changing leaves in the heavily wooded property. Winter allows dramatic views of the lake and a great place to spend the holidays with family. The indoor fireplace is perfect for cool fall or winter days (firewood provided).

We absolutely loved staying here. Very beautiful, peaceful, and just an overall wonderful place to stay with family for a getaway in nature. We had the chance to meet with the host, she was fantastic and very easy going. Was very refreshing to meet such a lovely person who was willing to share life’s little gifts with us. May God bless your stay there as He did us!

Great place to stay. Having the pool was a huge plus seeing the water on leesville lake goes up and down . We thought it actually was on smith mtn lake. Plenty of room and very clean. Easy check in amd chevk out process .

Our family of seven had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lakeside cabin! From the moment we arrived, the home felt incredibly warm and welcoming. Everything was thoughtfully organized and clearly labeled, making it easy to settle in and feel right at home.Our five kids especially loved exploring the naval and Air Force memorabilia downstairs. One of the most unique aspects of the cabin was how much personality and history it had. Through all the thoughtful details and personal touches, we felt like we got to know our hosts without ever meeting them!The setting was absolutely beautiful, with stunning mountain and water views and even wild deer wandering through the property. It was wonderfully quiet and peaceful, the perfect place to slow down and enjoy time together as a family.It’s clear that the hosts have put a great deal of care and heart into this home. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

Beautiful! Refreshing pool! All the comforts of home. We were not able to use the dock as we had planned as 2 of the family were unable due to mobility and health issues. But I made the trip and saw lots of geese.There was a doe and her fawn that took naps next to the patio and pool deck . The views were breathtaking! The kitchen had lots of pots and pans and dishes. I hope we can visit again next year! Thank you for your hospitality Theresa!

Everything about our stay and the house was perfect! It was clean, had everything we needed, and was perfect for hanging out and relaxing and convenient to everything we needed. Theresa is an amazing host and communicated with me throughout the process. The dock and kayaks were a bonus! We will be back!

Theresa was a great host and was always quick to respond whenever I needed to get in touch with her.The house was very clean and well maintained. The pool was a great bonus and came with pool floats and other accessories, which everyone enjoyed. The home was also stocked with basic toiletries, and the host provided an initial supply of trash bags, toilet paper, and paper towels.A couple of things to keep in mind: the property does not include Wi-Fi, and there is only one TV that's located in the basement. Also, while some household supplies are provided to get you started, we did need to purchase additional trash bags, toilet paper, and paper towels during our stay.Overall, we had a great experience and appreciated Theresa’s hospitality.

Summer Getaway

We stayed 4 nights at this property and it was wonderful, beautiful home with a pool and private dock, lots of privacy and quiet!! The host was very accommodating and answered all questions, loved the book with local information and details of the property, would highly recommend.

Great Mountain Lake Getaway

The property is fantastic to get away and unplug with a great view of the lake. Just be ready for a little bit of a climb back from the dock. We were already talking about coming back again sometime!

Beautiful and secluded location

We loved the house and the secluded location. Very private and we loved the pool as well as the dock on the lake. We had a wonderful time and Theresa was very quick to communicate and gracious. I would highly recommend this property.

Theresa was very quick to reply and answer questions. The property was very clean and well equipped. The host had thought of everything from life jackets to extra beach towels. The house was comfortable for my husband and five kids and two daughters in law. The view was amazing. Check in process simple and smooth. 9.5 stars out of ten. The only reason we didn’t give it a perfect 10 was because the path to the water was very steep. We had hoped that my husband could fish more. He is recovering from cancer and found the walk back up to be very treacherous. He was only able to go one time. The teenagers and young adults caught very large fish off the dock and enjoyed kayaking. I think the host tried to show an honest picture of the path. It is steeper than originally thought.

We had a very nice stay. Plenty of room for all of us. Would suggest not using the small area rugs. They slide too easily and can be dangerous.

This place was amazing! We truly enjoyed our stay at the lodge. The pool was great and we were able to go fishing at the lake too! The hike is tough for older people, but we loved it! It made us feel right at home. You cant forget the million dollar view of the lake, the mountains and the sunset! We hope to go again next year. Thanks Terry

Enjoyed our stay

The house was great, had everything we needed. Had a storm on Saturday and power went out, owners came over and hooked up generator. The trail to the lake was a little too much for some of our group but the views from the sunroom were fabulous. Overall it was a great weekend.
