The property was everything the pictures showed. It was a perfect stay for our family of four. Plenty to do when we were staying at the house, with the hot tub a big hit with the kids. The kitchen was well stocked and equipped for cooking, and the beds were all nice. Overall, would definitely recommend and stay again.

Would rent again!

This house was awesome, great location, clean and good for little kids. If we’re ever in the area again we’d love to stay here again!

Place was great! Plenty of room for my son and me. We didn't even use the bottom floor other than to get to the hot tub after hiking all day. We didn't need a lot from the host. They were attentive and friendly when we did have questions though. My one and only suggestion would be an upgrade to the main floor living room furniture. Everything else was nearly perfect. We would definitely consider staying here again.

New Year Getaway

Great property for a small family or couples trip. Very clean and close to Gatlinburg. It only took about 5 minutes to drive down the mountain to the strip. My kids also loved the "kid cave" and every room had a large TV with streaming capabilities. The bathrooms were also very nice and the master bathroom had a great shower, which is hard to find in a rental.

Spectacular Mountain Home

This home is lovely, very clean and well equipped. Everything about it made our visit so special. The views are beautiful, the weather was amazing. We experienced lots of bear activity which was exciting! The owners Cameron and Jaime were wonderful to work with, quick to respond. They also took the time to send us a great list of suggestions while in the area. We will definitely be back!

Christmas Magic

This Christmas we needed a different experience and the Taking It Easy property was perfect. My three grandchildren, 7-8 yo, were delighted with the Kids Cave! Meanwhile, the adults felt luxurious with the comfortable beds and family spaces. However, the best part of our stay was the Christmas Tree. Santa delivered the gifts under a majestic tree scene. Everything was memorable. We will never forget our Christmas at this property.

This is a cute cabin. The kids loved the play area. My oldest one even discovered a special surprise on the ceiling of the kid cave. I won't spoil it, but have the kiddos turn off the lights when they are in the cave. We only had one issue during our stay. The smoke detector started beeping at 1:00am on our first night. My husband reset it and it stopped. I reached out to the owner and he sent someone right away to replace the batteries in all of them just in case. Then they sent a Starbucks gift card to apologize. Then he even checked in the next morning to make sure that everything was going well. Before the trip I reached out to see if there was a crib. The owner let me know that there isn't one, but that other guests have recommended Rocky Top Baby. This was a great recommendation. We got a crib, a baby gate, a wagon and some toys. The baby gate was a life saver because my two year old is a curious one and tried to climb on the stairs any chance he could. The toys were also a great addition because there aren't really any toys in the kid cave. Whether you are having a romantic weekend or a family trip, I would definitely recommend staying here!!

Great location and the house was beautiful! Close to downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We visited in early July and there was lots of bear activity around the house so definitely keep your car doors locked!
