Comfortable bed, house as described. Amenities were enjoyable. AC in bedroom was quite noisy, we had to turn it off. Not sure how that could be mitigated, so maybe bring your earplugs.

When it is very hot, the compressor for the A/C comes on to cool the unit down. This happens when the temperature is above the thermastat. There is also a portable A/C unit inside the bedroom that is quiet and exhaust out to the outside via an exhaust hose. As you said, there is not much that can be done when it is very hot outside. Glad to hear everything was enjoyable. Thanks for the great review. I will pass on to the owner the A/C comments to see what can be done to make it quieter if possible.

Great place to stay!

Property is in a beautiful location. Check in was convenient with clear instructions for after office hours arrival. Parking was plentiful. Grounds and pool were well kept up. Unit was clean and comfortable! Great stay overall!

The great shuttle debate

The listing says w/pool and shuttle to Gorge. While the pool didn’t cost extra, apparently the shuttle did and required a separate reservation. This would have been really great information. Also the pairing should be updated to be less deceptive. They showed me their ad from other websites when I questioned it. Refused to acknowledge that the listing on VRBO is misleading. Telling me that it is just me and no one else misunderstood. Then also that they almost cancelled my reservation because I booked too far in advance?

Crescent Bar Condos is a very friendly, private resort with great views of the Columbia River and the basalt cliffs. There are 2 9 hole golf courses nearby, convenience stores, restaurants, and ice cream/coffee shops. The resort has a very large pool and hot tub w/a kiddie pool nearby. There is also a boat launch out back near our gated parking lot to put your boat in the water. Also, your kids can enjoy playing in the nearby playground.

The property is unique because of the way all the units face toward the gated courtyard giving you a greater sense of community and safety amongst your neighbors for your kids and to gather as a family in various units nearby.
