Family of 6, very private, with secluded trails and a good size pond. House was spacious and clean. Lits of fun activities inside and out. The host communicated quickley when needed. Would recommendstaying here

The house is very clean and great for a getaway with the pups. Our pups did not swim in the pond but went on lot of walks. There is a trail around that is well marked and the road is nice for a hilly walk. The deck is large and completely enclosed. We were relaxed and comfortable, which was what we needed. It rained one day but there are enough games to keep entertained. All in all, a nice relaxing place for a couple or family, especially with pets.

This house is beautiful! Love how pet friendly it is! Very relaxing and literally had everything you could need there! The host were wonderful and very helpful. My family had an amazing time! Will definitely book here again!

We were so pleasantly surprised by how wonderful Rosebud Retreat was when we arrived! Almost immediately our kids asked if we could extend our stay. It was really well stocked with anything you could possibly need during your stay, including toiletries, lots of chargers, games, appliances, etc. We ended up changing our original hiking plans and just spent the entire weekend relaxing on the property, taking walks on the trails and playing games. I only wish there were curtains on the windows of the bedrooms so we could sleep in a little later (the sun wakes me).We cannot wait to return in other seasons!

This was our second post-Thanksgiving stay here and we absolutely loved every relaxing moment! The cabin is incredibly dog-friendly and human-friendly with every amenity you could need. The are wildly comfortable beds, a soaking tub, two beautiful wood-burning fireplaces, super comfortable couches and chairs and everything possible to make an awesome meal. There were even sleds for sledding which we took advantage of after the storm. We can’t wait to go back in the summer and explore the property and pond.

Prefect Weekend Getaway!

Me and my family had a lovely time at this house. The care put into the house is apparent the second you walk in and the property itself is lovely. The owners did everything right in making this an ideal rental. We will be back and I highly recommend to anyone checking out the location!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was honestly the most well-stocked rental we’ve ever stayed in, everything you could possibly need was already there. The home itself is beautifully decorated and immediately felt warm and welcoming.The beds were very comfortable, and the house was spotless when we arrived. The winter views were absolutely beautiful, and the kids had an amazing time sledding and playing in the snow.We also really appreciated how dog-friendly the property was. Inside, there were plenty of board games, books, and other activities to keep everyone entertained. The generous supply of firewood was a great touch for cozy evenings.Check-in was simple and seamless, and the internet was incredibly fast, which was a nice bonus. Overall, this was a fantastic stay and we would absolutely come back again.

Great getaway

Rosebud retreat is a cozy, quiet, well equipped home. Lots of privacy and opportunity for outdoor activities, and secluded enough while still an easy ride to Ellicottville. Valerie was great to work with!

Kimberly and her family were great guests, they followed the house rules, left everything neat and tidy and were amazing with communication. We would welcome them back and recommend them to other guests!

A truly lovely getaway weekend. Everything about Rosebud was comfortable, welcoming and homey. We loved the different experiences of being upstairs versus downstairs, and we spent time looking at all the art and photography throughout the cabin with great interest.The bed and bedding were so comfortable, we really appreciated that part. The grounds are very exploratory and fun to adventure on. Someone was really good at building footbridges! The pond has enthusiastic fish and pellets available, and my partner saw a huge fish (he estimated 2 ft long) that was very fun to spot and watch. As a musician it was such a nice experience for him to be able to pick up a guitar, sit by the fire he built and play. The fireplace was so well stocked with everything needed to get and keep a fire going at any size, and we appreciated all the different sized wood available. It was also lovely to have lots of different candle options to light for preferred scents, as well as the bath salt options. We thought the lower level smelled SO GOOD when we got there and were trying to figure out the source so we could buy it for our home. Then we realized it was the smell of the fireplace and wood once we got a fire going. Chef's kiss.We really just loved it all and are grateful for our stay. Thank you for being so accommodating and thinking of everything, we would definitely love to come back to Rosebud again.

My family had a wonderful time at the Rosebud Retreat! The house was perfect and the amenities were top notch! The views from the family room, dining room, and porch were amazing! The pond and kayaks were a great touch for the kids. Firewood was well provided with additional accessories. The grill was clean and large with everything provided. The beds were very comfortable and the extra entertainment (guitars, drums, games, movies, books) were way more than expected. Even details down to wireless chargers were amazing and helpful!!! We would recommend this property to anyone, especially with children and dogs! We definitely plan to stay again and again!

Our second stay at Rosebud Retreat was even more phenomenal and we thought the first couldn't be beat. We were a party of 6 this time and also brought along our dog and everyone had the most enjoyable relaxing stay. Rosebud is stocked with every convenience a person could reach for. My eldest put on the mud boots to go for a hike and we joked "Don't talk to any rangers!". We all had the best time putting together the colorful animal puzzle, such a perfect way to congregate around the table and spend quality time together (we highly recommend finding and enjoying that puzzle!). There is an awesome music and movie collection that we enjoyed, and every comfort of home you could wish for. It was a joy to bring our dog Fenris and watch him pick through and play with all the different dog toys. We loved the bird house with babies on the porch, so fun to watch! I'll say it again like I did in my last review - THE BEDDING is divine in every room. It's not often we find a bed more comfortable than our own. Lastly, the kindest and most welcoming host is just a message away ready to care for you and ensure a perfect vacation. Rosebud all the way! We will be back and can't wait to return!
