We enjoyed our stay immensely! Owner was so easy to interact with and responded quickly. View from unit could not have been better- quiet AC in both living and bdrm areas separate dining alcove with lovely view and 2nd bath a real plus. Good beach supplies and towelswell stocked kitchen supplies and utensils. Functional furnishings and loved tile floors throughout- no carpet. Little noise if any from units above or beside. A bit of street noise but was worth having so much so close. Would love to return to HPH and this unit in specific.

Great place to stay right on the beach, although Kamaole Beach II is not the most interesting and the building is older but well maintained. Very accessible to local restaurants and shops. Ample parking. Well equipped and tastefully furnished unit and a responsive host. A few things detracted from an excellent stay though, including an uncomfortable, unsupportive couch, a dish washer that doesn't dry, sliding doors that need some maintenance, and AC that's just adequate in the living room but great in the bedroom--all minor inconveniences in an otherwise very nice stay.

Perfect location - walkable to anything and middle of island

Maui Paradise

The view from the lanai was amazing. The beach front property was everything we wanted and the accessibility to restaurants and shops was very convenient. We would definitely stay here again!

Best we've stayed in

Fantastic condo in one of the best complexes we've stayed in on maui and we've been to Maui dozens of times. Great views from the balcony, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable king bed, nice L shaped couch, AC. Can't beat the location, right on the beach and walkable to many restaurants. Extras like beach chairs, umbrella and snorkel gear are a big bonus.

Absolutely beautiful

The property is absolutely gorgeous and is on the beach. The sunset and sunrise views are breath taking. The property owner, August, provided excellent communication and was very welcoming. It is very clean and has every comfort of home. I would recommend to anyone to stay here!

Beautiful condo in Kihei

This is our second time staying in this condo and we will continue to come again and again. It's perfect! Nicely decorated, very comfortable sectional, beach chairs and umbrella provided, gorgeous views, ocean front on one of the best beaches. Paradise!

Very nice condo with great views.

Stayed here with my two teenaged granddaughters during spring break. Unit works well with the 2 bathrooms. Very well stocked kitchen compared with the units in the complex that aren't VRBO's. That was a real plus. Tastefully decorated and clean throughout. Would recommend this condo to others looking to stay in this part of Kihei.

On the beach-Hale Pau Hana in Kihei

This condo was exactly what we were looking for and it did not fail. Everything stated in the listing was extremely accurate with no details left out. This is a wonderful place to stay with all amenities (plus some) included. The location was perfect and watching sunset from the balcony was a wonderful optional. It's very tastefully decorated and it was a pleasure to stay her. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Retirement Vacation

We had a wonderful vacation! The condo had amazing views and was very clean! The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed and more. We loved having the beach chairs and other supplies. The location was idea as well. We did have a little problem with the WI-FI but it was resolved. Thank you again August for your hospitality!

Wonderful Stay On the Beach!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Hale Pau Hana. It was comfortable, clean, and nicely furnished. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, Keurig, dishes, pots and pans, etc. The host was responsive and easy to reach. The condo is directly across the street from eateries and shops. It's just a short distance to other restaurants and shops too offering a nice variety. It was wonderful being directly on the beach for morning walks and watching the sunset in the evening. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Best place to stay on Maui

I think Kihei is perfect place to be. The condo was amazing with a beautiful view, all of the amenities, including beach chairs and umbrellas! The owner checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. and I cant say enough about our beach. It was a gradual slope, with no rocks. I swam every day and although we visited other beaches I preferred the one I had out back. 5 stars for sure!

Excellent Maui Location

The location of this property was excellent, take the elevator down and you are on Kam II beach. The shared common area was a nice place to relax during the day and we enjoyed bouncing between the pool and beach. It was also a very walkable location. This was a great vacation for my small family. The only critical feedback I would give is that I don’t feel that the unit was remodeled as recently as what is described. In particular, the bathrooms could use a little touch-up. The unit itself was clean, however.

Unbelievable view

We had an amazing trip to Maui. August was extremely responsive and great to work with. The view was even better than the pictures portray, and a great location with restaurants nearby. The only thing to be aware of is A/c is only in the bedroom. With Maui breezes it was not a big deal, but there was one day where the living area was pretty warm. Overall, we would definitely recommend it and would not hesitate to rent from August again!

Thanks for your kind comments, they help to guide your fellow traveler. As to AC, most beachfront units only have ac in bedroom. If you stay in units across the street or even ocean view units, they are more likely to have ac in living room as well. It becomes a trade-off to be able to experience staying right on the beach with wet sand views. An afternoon snooze accompanied by the sound of the surf is heaven.
