Fisherman Review

This property is wonderful. We’ve stayed there a dozen times or so and is our favorite place to stay when we visit the area.

Donald and their party were a joy to host. The property was left in wonderful condition. They let us know about the sink draingin slow so we could address this right away. Welcome back to The Reel Diehl anytime!

So happy you enjoyed staying at the Reel Diehl. Close to Captain Ron’s and all the great restaurants and Lakeside bar and grills on the West Side in Sunrise Beach. The house has been recently remodeled, and we are open all year round.

The Reel Diehl is a great cottage for families and large groups. You have access to the lake by the community dock and very close to the popular Captain Ron’s Beach bar. Come back and stay again. Renting year around.

Shootout 24

Very good location just off Hwy 5. Screened porch was nice to have especially with the cooler temps last week. Plan on staying here again.

Glad to hear the Reel Diehl met all your needs. We are glad your group was able to relax over the weekend. Come back anytime to enjoy the Reel Diehl, as you have access to swim off the community dock, and we have several floats as well as life jacket in the garage. As you mentioned, Captain Ron’s is a short walk through the neighborhood or quick drive over. It’s a great place to have the kids swim in the lake all day and you hang out at their beach and get served cocktails all day. Also thank you for letting us know there was no grill brush, so we went and bought a new one and it’s by the Weber Gas Grill on the screened in porch. We appreciate letting us know!

Fishing Tournaments

My husband stayed with a group of guys for a fishing tournament. The host was quickly to answer questions and a good place stay.

So happy you found the Reel Diehl convenient and a great place to stay for fisherman. The subdivision access ramp is across the street from the house and we allow you to pull your truck and trailer and park on the lawn. We look forward to them coming back next month to fish again! Even though the owners have their own boat in the community dock, let me know if you might need to rent the neighbors empty slip. See you soon!

Great Hosts - Great Place - Great Time

Everything was wonderful. The place was spotless. We left a remote for one of our electronic devices at & the hosts found it & mailed it back to us which was greatly appreciated. All in all a wonderful stay. 5 stars for sure!

Fishing Tournaments

This stay was my husbands and son 3 time to rent this place. The host was very accommodating and easy to work with and quick to answer questions when they arose. House was clean and very well maintained.

Very accommodating!

John and Kim were great hosts and answered any questions we had quickly. We brought our pontoon down and their neighbor was great to let us use his empty slip since we could not get into the one we rented. Very close to Captain Ron's and our grands loved being at the "beach".

Family Time

We enjoyed our stay the Reel Diehl. The screened-in porch was awesome to use at night and not get attacked by bugs. It was a short walk to the dock to gain access to our boat. The property was clean and quaint.

The screened in porch is our favorite place to sit at night or enjoy a morning cup of coffee. ☕️ Our second favorite spot is around the firepit, and you never have to buy wood as the owners cut down a tree several years ago and there is plenty of seasoned dry wood for s’mores or a chilly evening. Come back anytime!

Amazing Lake Property

My friends and I had a wonderful time at this property. Don’t hesitate at all ; reach out and reserve it. Everything was as it was stated in the description. The communication between the owners was great. I hope to be able to bring my family back during the summer.

So happy to hear you enjoyed your winter weekend getaway at the Reel Diehl. In November there are still warm days and cool nights, which is perfect for several hours of campfires. We have plenty of dried wood on the property all cut and ready and great views of the lake. Can't wait to have you return in the summer!

We have stayed at other VRBO and did a lot less of the clean up. Not that I mind cleaning just not sure the charges equate to the amount left for cleaners. House itself very well equipped, bedrooms are a little warm at night with doors closed. We primarily used the house to sleep only,
