Fun yard for kids

Our kids loved playing in Sope creek! Easy walk to Merrit park. House was a little dated but clean and was a perfect fit for our family. Owners are very nice and accommodating.

Window units in 2BR, but only a box fan in the 3rd. I am not used to window units and found so the noise took some getting used to but made for good white noise I suppose. House was perfectly reasonable otherwise and host was excellent and easy to deal with.

Very clean and has all the amenities to accommodate large and small groups. The only unfortunate issue was unforseen but a/c was not cooling properly, but host did respond and addressed within a couple days.

Near everything

If you like the mountain environment this is the ideal property, beautiful property. My only critical comment is about the cleanliness, apparently the previous guests stayed with pets even though they are not allowed and the house needs a deeper cleaning. The attention of the owner and the supervisor was excellent and very friendly.

Old fashioned and cozy

Easy check in. Property management was responsive to questions. Check out instructions are clear and precise. Location is central to Marietta. Several shopping and eating establishments are working a short drive, and there is easy access to the major Highway.

The house is a good size for large families. We had 3 teen girls in the 2nd bedroom with plenty of room.

Nice stay

We really liked the location and our grandsons had a great time playing in the creek. We appreciate the responsiveness of the owners when we contacted them with questions. I would suggest a few maintenance repairs - the latch on the half bath door was loose and we couldn’t lock the deadbolt on the door from the master bedroom to the deck. It would be nice to have a stopper for the tub. One final note - I know the property isn’t listed as accessible but it would be nice to mention that there are a couple of stairs between the kitchen and dining area.

Good location

The house was a little more dated than we expected, but worked well for our visit. The house was clean, but a more in-depth cleaning would be recommended going forward. Overall we enjoyed the area, the creek out back and the location was very convenient to the major highways.

Restful location but convenient to the town center.

This is an older property that was clean and well-equipped for guests. (Kitchen was nice!) It is nestled into an intersection of two major roads that take you to the town center but feels secluded by the large lot on the back of the property that includes a creek with fast moving water that will lull you to sleep. Owners were quick to respond to questions. A suggestion would be to include in the description the need for guests to bring their own connections (Roku, Fire, computer connector, etc) if you wish to use the TV on the property with the internet (since not cable is available). The internet at the property worked very well.

Great location with easy access to interstate

We stayed here for a baseball tournament. Great location and large enough for 4 adults and 2 kids. Older home and large lot with ample parking. Wished they had cable tv but I did have laptop and was able to stream ESPN.

House was nice but could use a little work and could be a lot cleaner. Its an older home, I understand that but house could use a deep cleaning. I would recommend this home. The creek was awesome!

very cute and cozy home away from home

pets allowed, good wifi, cute creek and two fire pits. Had a lot of fun with my friends and it is super close to downtown atlanta without having to deal with downtown atlanta traffic. would definitely stay again!

Holiday Happiness

Stone Creek Lodge was a terrific home for our three-generation-Atlanta area stay over the Christmas holiday. The entire home was comfortable and spacious for all six of us to spread out and have many meals in while the sun room suite was perfect for parents, age 87 and 88, to have their necessary quiet times. This home is well-situated with accessibility to Interstate 75 which is right around a couple of corners. Asenah’s lovely floral arrangements were a delightful touch, and Richard attended, immediately, to our every need. If you like cozy, this house is for you.

Ideal family home in Atlanta area

On arriving, we were greeted by the owners who had cut fresh roses from outside and put them in every room! The attention to detail was impeccable. From soaps to spices to cookware to towels to a hair dryer and once I looked I realized every room had a "theme"/color scheme and the detailed Decor made the house feel like a home for the time that we stayed. There was a toddler bed/crib for my youngest and also a creek out back for my older children. We were 20 minutes from downtown Atlanta to visit attractions like the night lights at the botanical gardens or whatever we wished. It was absolutely beautiful and a perfect solution to not being able to make it to North Georgia. George was quick to help with whatever we needed and his wife was kind and welcoming. The nature was beautiful on the land and there's a park a short walk away with a playground for the kids behind the tennis court. Perfect.

Terrible

I would never rent from this owner. Beds are terrible. TV did not work properly. Cats in the outside garbage every night. Bathroom sink did not drain. Odor in house. Owner has video cameras on the exterior of house to watch you come and go. Owner did not respond to TV issues. No cable for the TV. Make sure you read lease owner kept my security deposit for no reason.

Please read the guest's agreement. You rented this home with 7 guests on your agreement. You then put 12 people in the home. The home would not have rented to you if you a listed 12 people. If you bring extra people or pets you have to let us know.
