The house was beautiful and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. Parking was easy and the location is right next to the park, with lots of cute local spots nearby (shops, restaurants, Fox in the Snow cafe, etc.). Communication with the owner was great and he was very responsive. We also appreciated the nice smelling soaps and lotions throughout and the extra amenities in the bathroom. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would happily book again!

Wonderful, well appointed house in the a great location - quiet, close to both the park and short walk to the heart of the city.Comfy beds. Great kitchen though we didn’t use. Will use again.

Mental health retreat

My colleague and I spent a quick two day decompression stay from our always busy reality. This house was absolutely wonderful. The location is incredible and the house was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Hoping to stay again soon!

This was a wonderful place to call home over the Thanksgiving holiday week of visiting family. It was immaculate, very well organized, and beautifully decorated. One and an half bathrooms and a laundry room were much appreciated. As well as, off street parking. The location was ideal—right near Schiller Park and walking distance to several restaurants and coffee shops. We will definitely be back!

German Village Gem

Beautiful property with everything you’ll need for your stay! Within walking distance to all shops and restaurants, as well as the beautiful Schiller park. Perfectly situated front porch to enjoy a beverage and relax. We will definitely be back!

Love the house! Perfect location, GV charm but upgraded. Kitchen, great! Porch, great! Beds, comfy! Bathrooms, awesome. I loved it. Would've love to use the fireplace but it still says out of season. Overall, I would definitely go back. Loved my hometown visit. Thank you

Weekend trip

Went up to spend time with my daughter who is a student at OSU. LOVED the house! Clean and beautifully decorated. Great layout! Loved the tub! Plenty of room! Will definitely be going back!

Beautiful home; great location

We have stayed at several homes in German Village and this is hands down the best (and not just because it is only steps from the park and Winans Chocolate shop). The home is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated and spotlessly clean with everything needed for a stay. The neighborhood is walkable and friendly with many great shops and restaurants only a few blocks away. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evening and slept well in the comfy bed (no flat, lumpy pillows here!). We will definitely stay again on our next visit to Columbus.

Disappointing

It is not unreasonable to expect that one could view live TV at the property. There were instructions from the owner on how to access live TV but it could not be accessed. A telephone conversation with the agent (not the owner) revealed that notwithstanding the owner's instructions there was no access to live TV. Apparently, the owner discontinued the streaming service that provided live TV without notice to me. During my visit I had to go out to a bar on two separate nights to watch the NBA playoffs. Complaints were met with a flippant response and no satisfactory resolution.

James failed to read the property description before booking as we do not provide live TV at this or into any of our rental rentals. Informed him that he could sign into any of his streaming accounts and watch as he would at home. Someone was even subscribed and signed into YouTube TV and I told him that he could just watch that but evidently that was not good enough for him. We take great pride and providing excellent service and Amazing stays. We provided more than what is advertised but that was still not good enough for him

This house is a gem. The character of the house and the thoughtful upgrades from the high end appliances to the spacious full bathroom made this stay extremely enjoyable for my family and me. Being a real estate broker, this house appears to have been prepared for the sales market. I’m thankful it was available for us to stay though! The German Village is absolutely a great place to stay. We walked to coffee, breakfast, lunch, dinner, shopping, and even just to enjoy the architecture while we weren’t visiting family.
