Bella baita su Trail Creek Ranch

Bellissima baita privata con una camera da letto sul Trail Creek Ranch. Appartata, sopra il ranch, senza nessun altro in giro, questa è una cabina ideale per la luna di miele o un rifugio dal mondo frenetico. Un letto matrimoniale fatto a mano, bagno completo con vasca, lavatrice e asciugatrice, cucina completa e soggiorno con stufa a legna. Un portico seduto che si affaccia sul ranch e sul laghetto del ranch, su un vecchio legname in crescita e sull'indiano dormiente nella catena montuosa del Gros Ventre. Viste incredibili.

Alci, alci, cervi, falchi, coyote, volpi, per citarne alcuni sono tutti i tuoi vicini e un orso occasionale.

La cabina si trova sullo storico Trail Creek Ranch, uno dei più antichi ranch di Jackson Hole. Adesso affittiamo le nostre cabine e le nostre camere per condividere l'incredibile bellezza e il carattere del "vecchio Jackson Hole". Il Ranch si trova su "Old Pass Road", un vicolo cieco per i veicoli, ma viene utilizzato da molti per le escursioni e la mountain bike di classe mondiale.

Essendo nel Ranch, hai accesso alla nostra piscina riscaldata all'aperto e alla connessione wifi gratuita e alle incredibili viste e compagnia della nostra mandria di cavalli imbarcati.

Siamo situati a un paio di minuti dal centro di Wilson, dove si trovano un grande magazzino, una stazione di servizio, il famoso Nora's Fish Creek Inn (prendi l'huevos o la trota !!), Pearl Street Bagel (il bagel tutto!) e molte altre attività. Si trova a circa 12 minuti dalla vivace città di Jackson e 12-15 minuti dalla stazione sciistica di Jackson Hole, e dall'ingresso più meridionale del Grand Teton National Park, e 90 miglia dalla foce di Yellowstone. Molti dei nostri ospiti fanno gite di un giorno a Yellowstone per visitare l'anello inferiore meridionale.

La pista ciclabile della Contea di Teton arriva proprio accanto al Ranch e puoi andare in bici fino al Grand Teton National Park! Piste ciclabili incredibili.

In inverno, racchette da neve fino alla cabina, e basca nel paese delle meraviglie invernale totale che Trail Creek Ranch è. Scia fuori dalla tua porta sulla pista da sci / di fondo privata da 15 km gestita dal Jackson Hole Ski Club. O vieni a nutrire i cavalli con noi sul nostro antico (!) gatto delle nevi e slitta di fieno.

12-15 minuti per il resort di classe mondiale Jackson Hole Mountain, 45 minuti per Grand Targhee Ski Resort. Oppure esplora il backcountry del Teton Pass: puoi sciare direttamente nella tua cabina da molte delle piste che escono dal pass. Nessun altro posto simile!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! The space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for unwinding and the host was responsive and easy to communicate with. We'd definitely book again. Highly recommend!

Great Hosts and Spectacular Setting

Alex was very hospitable and kind to my wife and I, who were visiting the Tetons and Yellowstone for her birthday. The cabin is perfect with everything you'd need for a stay. The views are spectacular and there was a moose in the yard when we first drove in (cherry on top, I suppose). The location is great and a really neat place itself. Thanks again and hopefully we will be back sometime soon!

When Can We Move In?!

I don't have enough time to write about how wonderful and well-equipped this cabin was during our one-week stay in December 2023. We never wanted to leave. The cabin offered a perfect balance and abundance of beautiful views, seclusion, luxury, and comfort. At most, it's 10 minutes away from both the Village and Jackson. The wifi was perfect and so was everything else. Alexandra and her family (the hosts) were as pleasant as the space itself. We cannot recommend this cabin enough!

Awesome Location

We had a wonderful stay on the ranch. Alex was very accommodating and even helped us get our luggage up to the cabin. The cabin is just outside of town which is perfect if you want to feel like you’re actually camping in the middle of nowhere. It was very nice and clean and had all of the necessities. During our stay we were hoping to see moose and never had the opportunity. After we had checked out, one of the caretakers on the property, Jules, actually called us and said if we were still in town she would take us to the barn to see moose. We were ecstatic and of course went back to enjoy the view for awhile. We will be returning for sure!

25th Anniversary Trip

We can’t say enough about how wonderful the Trail Creek Ranch is. From Alex, our host, to the property itself, its hard to imagine you could find a better location to stay in this area. That is if you are looking for a vacation to a beautiful, quiet and secluded location. Conveniently located just above Wilson, WY and 15 minutes from Jackson. So you have plenty of options for shopping and dinner too. 3 days of snowmobiling, 4 days of snowshoeing (trails recommended by Alex) and killer meals in Jackson all make for one of the best vacations we’ve taken. Recommend The Gunbarrel, White Buffalo Club and especially King Sushi for dinner. Be sure to get reservations well in advance. Anyway, Thanks Alex for a great trip. We will definitely be back in a year or two.

Beautiful and peaceful

Our week at Trail Creek Ranch in one of the log cabins was beautiful and peaceful. The property is situated at the base of a mountain - isolated from crowds and shops, which is what we always look for. Yet it's accessible to anything we wanted... I worked out at a gym within a 10 minute drive. The cabin had a very well equipped kitchen in which we cooked every meal, and the bedroom was comfortable and cool (in late August!). I can't say enough about the cabin, since it was perfectly efficient (washer/dryer were awesome), clean, and comfortable (I typically don't sleep well on vacation, but this bed was fantastic!). The outdoor deck with it's eastern view of mountains and horse pen/barn was an evening event worth celebrating every day. The management was very friendly and always available. Wifi was a little weak, but my husband was able to complete his data-driven online work daily with no problem. The best part was the moose and deer sightings... near the cabin and on the road leading to it! And world-class biking is out the door - literally ride from the cabin up the mountain to amazing (yet 'advanced') trails. I can't wait to spend more time hiking the Tetons from this peaceful yet accessible ranch paradise.

Beautiful setting close to Wilson WY. Quaint and comfortable cabin that is fun to hang out in when you just want to relax (for example, if it is too rainy to hike in the park). Close to good restaurants, the park, and the airport. Alex the host was great and the ranch history was interesting too.

Honeymooning in the Tetons

Alex’s cabin was perfect for us on our honeymoon! We spent 4 night there relaxing by the fire after long days in GTNP. Alex was the best host and we loved being so secluded but yet close to town. Highly recommend!

Comfortable and cosy cabin

I stayed in Alex’s Cabin and I agree with all the previous reviews of how comfortable and well equipped it is. It’s the only cabin with a full kitchen. Morning coffee on the porch as the sun rises was perfect. There is some traffic noise from the Teton Pass Highway not far away, but this dies down by early evening when Trail Creek Ranch becomes tranquil and the deer come out. A lovely place to stay away from the bustle of Jackson.

Fabulous property in a superb location

Fabulous property in a superb location. Had everything we needed and was a great place to stay for access to Jackson and the Grand Teton National Park. Really enjoyed our stay in Alex’s cabin and wished we could’ve stayed longer. Lovely friendly people on the ranch, would definitely recommend, five stars all the way!

Cozy and Intimate

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it! Even though it snowed the entire time, there was plenty to do and it was beautiful all around. Alex and the rest of the team were great and gave good recommendations for things to do/places to eat or see. We hope to return one day!

Cozy, clean and perfect location!

If you are looking for a place to stay that is 'off the beaten path' but close enough to town/village then Alex's cabin is the perfect spot for you!! We were so pleased with our winter visit to the cabin. We had to snowshoe to get to and from the cabin which made it all the more exciting. Beautifully groomed cross country ski trails all throughout the property and 24/7 views of moose from the cabin made for a truly special visit! The cabin was well equipped with firewood, kitchen tools, towels, bedding, etc. and was very clean and charming. Rick and Jules were kind enough to bring us along to help feed the horses and moose - what a cool experience. I highly recommend visiting Alex's Cabin/Trail Creek Ranch any time of the year. Streetfood @ Stagecoach is delicious! Go on Sunday night.

Get Away!!!

Great Cabin with Super Views

This cabin was perfect for us. It sits up on a hill facing east and has a super view of the ranch against big backdrop of the Gros Ventre range in the distance. The front porch is a great panorama – hard to go inside. But the picture windows provide much the same view from the living and kitchen area. It gives a perfect view of the sunrise over the mountains and we caught a couple of moon-rises that were fabulous. This is a very quiet spot. The Trail Creek ranch is well-placed just a couple of miles from Wilson and walking distance to great strolls in the woods. Very comfortable furnishings and such – all you need. It's an excellent alternative to the crowds at Teton Village and Jackson, but you're close to both and not far from the Moose Wilson Road entrance to the Park. You're also close to the public access to the river (nice area) and some super trails in the Teton Pass area just to the east. We hated to leave.

Trail Creek Ranch was a full service Dude Ranch up until 1999, when we quieted the ranch down a bit. We now just host guests to enjoy the scenic beauty and magic of the Ranch. Muggs has been here for over 70 years and Alex for 31. The original owner of Trail Creek, Elizabeth Woolsey, built this cabin for Alex hoping she would stick around a while! She did!! And got married and her family of six won't fit in the cabin!!

This cabin is perfect for a couple looking for a quiet retreat. It is fully furnished and set up. It is private and has incredible views and is a good viewing spot for wildlife. The quintessential ranch cabin with all the amenities.

If you are a backcountry skier, there is no better spot on Teton Pass to base yourself.

The heated swimming pool to cool off on a hot day. The view and company of horses and wildlife. The quiet, the history. There is no other place like Trail Creek ranch. An authentic, working, western ranch.
