Just 1 block from Downtown Stephenville and 1 mile from Tarleton State University, this is one of the best-located vacation rentals in the city. Whether you're here for a Tarleton graduation, ring dunk weekend, Parents Weekend, game day, or just a fun group getaway — The Hive has everything you need to make it a great stay.

Inside, you'll find a bright and open floor plan with bold yellow accent walls, new linens and decor throughout, a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee bar, and a living room with a large Smart TV and two sofas. The bee theme runs throughout — from the honeycomb wall art in the master bedroom to the custom Hive cornhole boards out back. It's a home with genuine personality and you'll feel it the moment you walk through the yellow front door.

The master bedroom features a king bed, Smart TV, dedicated workstation, and private ensuite bathroom — great for couples or anyone who wants their own space. The queen bedroom is bright and comfortable with bold gold curtains and its own Smart TV. The third bedroom is the surprise of the house — twin beds under a stunning wood plank ceiling with blue drapes and a cozy reading chair. Every bedroom has a Smart TV.

Outside, the huge fenced backyard is one of the best in Stephenville. A sail shade patio with string lights, Adirondack seating, fire pit, and gas grill sets the scene for backyard cookouts and late nights under the Texas sky. Custom Hive cornhole boards, ladder toss, and open green lawn give your group plenty to do. And right behind the back fence? The Bosque River Trail — one of Stephenville's best walking and biking trails, steps from your door.

The Hive is pet friendly, has covered parking for two vehicles plus driveway space for trucks and trailers, and comes stocked with board games, snacks, and everything your group needs to feel right at home from the moment you arrive.

Super close to downtown, 6 minute walk! Beds were very comfortable & location was nice & quiet. Covered parking in the summer heat was a major plus! Host was extremely kind & quick with a response when needed. Will definitely book again.

Very cute and comfortable place to stay. We came into town for a wedding so were not at the house as long as I would have liked. I was so happy to see that the coffee was available with creamer (which I had forgotten to pack), as well as a nice stash of snacks! There was also a car show and some booths Saturday morning, within walking distance! Would definitely stay again.

The hive is a cute theme little property! We came for orientation at Tarleton and stayed here. A few snacks and waters were provided and the coffee bar was a blessing.
