The house is very warm and welcoming. The lake access is very convenient, and the yard space is great. The owners are easy to communicate with, we really enjoyed our weekend stay.

This cozy cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway with my dad and little brother! I moved out of state several years ago and was craving a lake retreat during my visit back to the mitten. The lake view is at the end of the short street and the property's cute little deck is another minute walk away. The cabin had everything we needed and more. We took advantage of the bonfire, kayaks, BBQ, and full kitchen. They also had plenty of board games. The other cabins on the street were cute and everyone waved hello. There is also beach access not too far from the spot. Thank you!

Incredible host. Open, honest, and trustworthy!! Couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be back. As I told Kelly, 5 stars doesn't do the place justice. I will 100% recommend to any and everyone!!

This cabin has a great little cabin vibe. The host has basic amenities available plus some additional helpful items like cooler backpacks and already stacked and cut wood for a fire. The water is hard water so just bring some bottle water. The cabin is located in a quiet spot and isnt too busy. The dock and water is located down the road. We stayed overnight for a wedding and it was the perfect traveling distance. I would say the stairs to the loft are more like a ladder which for small kids could be worrisome. Overall, my husband and I really liked the spot.

Thank you for the great review and the feedback! We do have two Brita water filters in the fridge for clean drinking water that are available to our guests. The steps to the loft are definitely like a ladder and I will change that description in our bio information. It’s definitely a challenge for little ones and older folks. Thank you for the feedback! Check in was a breeze- the kitchen was well stocked, clean and had everything we needed. The coffee station was so cute and we really appreciated the bottled waters.

Cozy Cabin

This place was so adorable we didn’t want to leave! Large lot for parking and the cutest A-frame cabin. I love that the owners left such good notes about the home. The location is perfect to walk around town and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake.

This A Frame cabin was perfect for our get away! Cute, relaxing, and inviting. Kelly was a great host, and easy to contact. Everything went smooth and they provide everything to make it feel like home. Including everything you need to sit at the beach or the docks. Having two kayaks on hand was a huge plus! The lake is beautiful and great to relax in or on, and only a short walk away. We highly recommend this house if you want a nice, quiet, lake vacation!

Super cute beach cottage

The place was adorable. I didn’t see the picture of the step ladder to get to the beds up top but it was easy to climb and not to high. The back fire pit area was perfect for multiple people to hang out and felt secluded from all the other beach cottages since it was on a dead end street. We totally will be back next summer.

We rented for a long weekend Fri-Mon. The home was beautiful, clean and had many amenities. We spent time hanging at the lake during the day and yard and fire pit at night. We liked the different entertaining spaces and access to the grill. In town we took advantage of the golf cart rental, driving range and enjoyed lunch at a cafe. One thing we didn’t think of was the operating hours of the local businesses, we wanted to try the Oliver’s Pizza Planet but they closed at 6:(

Lake getaway

Firstly the cabin is just the cutest. Well stocked, clean, and conveniently located. Communication with host was super easy. Quick responses & very helpful. Private dock & walking distance to small beach. We rented a golf cart & a pontoon boat during our stay. Talking about renting this cute A frame cabin again next season!

Cabin Love!

This cute cabin had everything we needed. Lots of supplies that we don’t always see in other rentals. Crystal City was a bonus! The lake, the private dock, the ice cream shop were all enjoyed. Just wish we could come when we don’t have wedding festivities to attend!! Communication with Kelly was always quick and easy. Thanks for the great time!

Fantastic!

My wife grew up in an A-frame house in Michigan. I also grew up in Michigan. We have been living in the Phoenix area for about the last 30 years. We were looking for a place to stay that reminded us of when we were little. This sure met the needs! Beautiful home, tucked away in a beautiful area with very quick access to the beach, ice cream shop, restaurants and stores. There was an awesome fire pit on the grounds, and the kids especially loved the loft inside the cabin. Kelly was a fantastic host, and we would definitely stay here again.

This ADORABLE A-frame cabin in Crystal, MI was well appointed, well thought out &decorated, and obviously done with love! Kelly, the owner was amazing when it came to being in touch and communication. She thought of everything from beach towels, backpack, coolers, picnic, baskets, chairs, kayaks, and lifejackets, to Q-tips shampoo, conditioner, and bug spray. Literally bring your clothes and come on up.We stayed the weekend of August 14 for a family wedding that was being held at an outdoor venue in Ionia. Only a 25 minute ride to the venue allow us to turn the weekend into a long one that we enjoyed with three generations. And countless family members the state in the area as well. Thank you so much for having such an adorable cabin, for a reasonable cost that is so well thought out and just perfect for so many different situations, vacations, or family weekends away! Oh, in the lake! Beautiful. The Doc that is directly on the Lake and a lovely five minute walk from the counter to take the water go for a swim, or take a kayak around the lake and enjoy the Krystal Clearwater. Perfection. I recommend the wet spot that is in walking distance. It’s like a corner bar with no definite sign but look for the people enjoy enjoying drinks on the patio and check out the food! Some of the best and most fresh I’ve had in a while. The café in town was perfect for breakfast and the food was also delicious.Five stars all around!
