So thankful for these guests and their enjoyment of the many surroundings. We have a firepit but not a grill, primarily because of bears in the vicinity. Perhaps we can try that in the future. I have never met this guest or her family, but I feel like I've known her for a long time. She has been so warm in her communications and seems like someone I'd like to have as a friend. She and her family were ideal guests; we hope they will return. We would rent to them over and over again!

Wow! We are grateful for the 4 stars. That means the house and location must have been fantastic for us to get 4 stars with all of the complaints. Two things should be clarified: the instructions said the guest should let us know whether to send the door code by email or by text, then we'd send the code about 30 minutes before check-in. The guest didn't let us know until after checkin time. According to our outdoor cameras, she was not even there at checkin time. When she let us know, I sent the code immediately. As for trash, our listing on VRBO notes that trash must be removed from the premises. The recycling center IS open on Sundays but opens later than on other days. In our time of renting the cabin and in donating stays for charity auctions, this is the first complaint and first time the guest has not let us know a preference in receiving the door code. So, yes, we are grateful for FOUR stars.
