We loved staying here! Our family with 2 great grandparents, 8 grand kids and 8 adults had a fantastic time! The beach is great here; not crowded and having the pool gave us a great break from the sand.

We LOVED this house for our massive multiple generation annual beach trip. Can’t get closer to the beach or better views than this! Everything was perfect for our family and we really couldn’t think of anything that would make it better or that we would change! Fully stocked kitchen (including a crockpot) with everything you could possibly need for a large group!

This house was exactly what we expected. The main level deck out to the beach was our favorite part. We also appreciated the 2 large sitting windows so you could be inside while seeing the ocean. The bedrooms were all spacious. The host was responsive any time we reached out. This location was perfect with less people on the beach. We enjoyed our stay very much!

BEAUTIFUL home!

This was the perfect home for our large group. Absolutely stunning views, great common area, nice amount of kitchen / counter space, and spacious rooms. The beds were very comfortable as well! Will definitely book again.

Family Beach Fun

I was very pleased that the house was just like it was portrayed online. Spacious and comfortable for kids and adults. Wonderful access to the beach. Everything we needed for cooking was there and the second refrigerator very handy! A wonderful stay!!

It was Amazing

This is our second stay at the Romar House in Orange Beach, AL. We are very comfortable with our family stay of 20 from 68 to 5 years old. The location is exceptional and so many restaurants a drive away. It was absolutely amazing!

Everything was great about the house, pool & location. Loved that it had 4 master suites for all our couples (Wish it would have had an elevator for all us older folks!) Contact with host was prompt & helpful! Kitchen well stocked & icemaker was a plus!! Overall awesome experience.

The house was just as it was listed. Perfect location, just far enough away from the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to so much. It worked well for a multigenerational group.

Nice Property

Overall, it was a very nice place to stay. It was clean and nicely appointed; however, a few pieces of the bedding were stained (permanently, I think) and a couple of the pots and pans need replacing as we couldn't get them clean either. Also, the range had one burner control that was broken, so cooking for a large group was difficult.

Very clean and updated furnishings

Very nice home. The host was accommodating for an early arrival. The common area is a bit small for our family of 19. It is probably more suited to warmer weather when you can spill out onto the deck. Overall, very nice.

Excellent Property!

Extremely well appointed and well equipped home. Gorgeous, and comfortable furnishings. Perfect privacy and beach access. Super location with access to great restaurants, food delivery, and grocery stores. We had our fingers crossed for a heated pool, or at least a hot tub at the pool but no dice. Would make a fabulous upgrade. Thank you!

The BEST PLACE. We had 14 people. Plenty of room. You never felt crowded. Owners were wonderful and fast in answering any questions we had. Steps away from the beach. I loved having our own pool. There were so many things to do. My husband and some kids and grands went deep sea fishing one day. Caught lots of Red Snapper. We took it to Zeke’s restaurant and they cooked it for us. They have really good food. Would definitely recommend this place. We are going to go back next year.

Great High School Baseball Trip

Our high school baseball team, coaches and their families had a wonderful time. There was plenty of room. The house had everything we needed. The team had a great time in between games. The pool was great. Beautiful beach just steps away. The team was able to bond and enjoy each other’s company. We had a devotional time Sunday morning. Everything was perfect. Thank you for allowing our team to stay.

Perfect home for our multi-generational family vacation!

In short, we have already booked the same home for next year! That says it all! But, here's a few more notes: . VERY short walk to the water . THE most COMFORTABLE beds ever (all the family commented on this) . The extra ice-maker was a game-changer . Plenty of space for 17 of us to eat and gather . Responsive host .

Kitchen is a little tight for large groups. Hard to have more than 3 people at a time in there with opening oven, fridge or dishwasher. Steps up to house from driveway are steep. Have a high rise in them so carrying luggage and groceries can be hard. Lighting at garage level and down front steps is non existent. Very dangerous at night.Hosts were always very responsive to questions or if we needed help with anything. Deck on kitchen level is great to gather on for coffee or cocktails with family or friends.

Excellent!

This house was perfect for our family! There were 18 of us ranging from 1 year old to 75 years old and and we couldn’t have asked for a better layout and location. The house had plenty of room for all of us to spread out and have privacy when needed, but a great gathering space in the main part of the house for visiting with each other. The beach access was so easy to use and carry our beach things back and forth and the pool was just as convenient! It was close enough to get to, but far enough away that no one worried about non-swimming kids getting in unaccompanied and being in danger. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone!
