Celtic Lodge Lovers

This was our 7th time coming to Celtic Lodge. Always a great time:) It is great value for the price, but would be willing to pay a little more for some updated furniture. The beach and outdoor area are great!

Peaceful setting

It was a lovely getaway for our family. Our children loved the waterfront property, kayaking and paddle boarding.

Wonderful Place to Make Memories

We have been going to Celtic Lodge for years now. The home is well kept and laid out well for a large family vacation. The pond is clean, well stocked with fish, and has a raft for jumping in. This has been our favorite spot for a long time!

Great place to stay!

Family members traveled to the area for a graduation party. Local family got to enjoy time with traveling family in a wonderful setting with lots of room. Tried Kayaking, swimming, ping pong and catching fish! We hope to do it again!

Wonderful place to spend family time!

This home has it all! Walk in sandy beach, giant bass to catch and release and a beautiful view to round it out. The house is stocked with everything you need and it’s close to local fun bars The Dirty Turtle and Shipwreck Bay. Highly recommend!!

A family favorite

The last time we were at Celtic Lodge it was 2015. We finally returned in 2025 and it was just as good as last time. We loved the clean water and the swimming out to the dock. The fishing was good. The beach was clean. We loved the radio speakers outside. There was something for everyone! Thank you! We will be back!

Upon arrival, everything thing was ready for us in the cabin. All participants were very satisfied with the accommodations . We were surprised to see towels available for use. One thing that needs repair is the grill burners and igniter. We didn’t have matches and had a hard time starting grill. Other than that, a great experience.

Lovely stay

Our group of 9, 8 adults + a 6 year old, all really enjoyed the Celtic Lodge. Plenty of room for everyone. Spent tons of time outside and in the water. Peaceful area with only 2 other homes on the lake. The mini fridge in the lower level was a nice surprise. We were surprised how quickly the water got deep, so we did have to keep a close eye on the fearless kiddo! Overall, we’d definitely recommend this home!

Sun, water, and fun!

We had an excellent vacation! The home was spacious and clean, and all the advertised amenities were in place. The big hit, however, was the pond. Our granddaughters spent almost all their time on the beach, on paddleboards, in the water swimming or fishing. Both sons-in-law loved the fishing and both caught (and released) 5# bass. Our 7-year-old granddaughter caught the first fish (a large pan fish) on a simple dough ball.The area felt private and we saw deer, turkeys, turtles and frogs in addition to all the fish. The water was so clear that we could watch fish following our lures as we reeled in.It was almost perfect. I say almost because a few of the beds could use new mattresses and some of us would have liked firmer pillows, but sleeping was only a small part of our time here.

Friend Trip 2025

Overall great cabin and property. Everything was clean and well maintained. Plenty of space in the bedrooms for air mattresses since the kids didn't always want to sleep in the bunk room. The kids had a blast having a beach in the backyard. Spent everyday swimming since we lucked out with some great weather.Kitchen was a little under stocked with utensils but nothing trip ruining. If you are picky about pots and pans maybe bring your own. Also no child utensils.Only minor complaints are lack of a pantry. All of our snacks lived on the counter so it would have been nice to have a bookshelf or something in the spacious entryway.Friends staying in the downstairs queen bedroom said the bed was too firm and noisy when moving around.Needing to keep the fire pit on the beach. It would be nice to have a pad for it in the grass.Great cabin and property! We will be back!

Great Cabin

We stayed here 2 different times over the summer and both were great. We all love the beach. Great fishing. Lots of room in the cabin. Great value compared to the similar cabins in the area.

This house is absolutely amazing!! There was plenty of room for 6 adults and 5 kids and a dog! The beach area was huge and quiet. The host was very easy to work with and responsive. My family loved staying here so hoping to be able to book again next year! The only flaw that I would say about the house is the queen bed in the basement was VERY hard and not comfortable at all.

Lovely stay!

This beautiful home was very clean, so spacious, and had so many extras like water toys and cooking staples. We appreciated the new white bathroom towels. The setting is wonderful, quiet, peaceful. The area offered many opportunities for walking and we found great restaurants (and ice cream!) nearby. The only suggestion we have is to offer a pack 'n play. Thank you.
