Questo cottage semplice e conveniente nei boschi vicino al lago Michigan ha molto da offrire con un bagno di tre quarti recentemente rinnovato.
Immagina di trascorrere la giornata in spiaggia privata dell'associazione in completo relax, per poi tornare a casa a grigliare hamburger sul ponte privato. Dopo cena, si ritorna in spiaggia per godersi il bellissimo tramonto, prima di tornare ai marshmallows arrosto nel pozzo del patio.

Il cottage si trova a soli dieci minuti da Michigan City e dalle numerose attrazioni della zona che ha da offrire. It was a great home base for a fun filled weekend at the Indiana Dunes. We enjoyed the upper deck for dinners and relaxing. The best part was the golf cart that we took to the private beach, perfect for watching the sun set.

Great pet friendly house in a wonderful community within walking distance to the beach! Plenty to do in the area. This was my third time staying here, and this time I discovered that the botanical garden nearby is dog friendly. Win!

The location is nice, close to the beach and quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed the golf cart, and appreciated local recommendations from the host. Pictures are accurate, check in process easy. The only critique is that some things are outdated. A few updates could go a long way.

I actually would give this listing 4 1/2 stars. Lovely woodland property that had a very cozy and relaxing feel to it. The home was clean. We didn't go to the beach, but if you did, there beach chairs available to you. On a rainy day, there are plenty of games provided for your entertainment. The only downside was that if you plan on making any oven meals you should bring your own ovenware as there were none available. There are plenty of pots and a few small skillets. I was glad I brought a large fry pan because the one in the kitchen wasn't in good shape. The use of the golf cart was great. Our time in Michigan was spent seeing family and I wish we had given ourselves extra days to enjoy the lake. I would stay here again in a heart beat. The host was easy to communicate with and check in was easy.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The golf cart and the private beach access are an amazing bonus! We were very close to the National Park and several state parks. Great shops and restaurants in the area too! I totally fell in love with Lake Michigan and look forward to coming back!

Better than expected

The listing is more spacious and even nicer that the pictures show. It had everything we could possibly need. The beach was beautiful. The beds aren't the best, but plenty of blankets, pillows, and linens. We loved the golf cart, location to everything we wanted to do, and the communication with host. A wonderful experience. I hope to book it again sometime. We cooked out on the grill and enjoyed the deck over looking the woods. It's a beautiful cottage, very clean and cozy.

Loved this place!

Such a wonderful place to stay! Great location to the quiet, clean and very nice beach and in a beautiful wooded setting. The house had everything we could have wanted or needed for the week. The owner was so kind and was quick to respond from the time we booked to when we checked out. Our family had the best week here and would love to come back again!

Great location!

Wonderful, quiet neighborhood in walking distance to the beach, and easy driving distance to Indiana Dunes State and National parks. Owners have plenty of items on hand if needed, such as beach items, a dog crate if you are traveling with your fur baby, and even a high chair if you are traveling with a small child. There is also a golf cart for your use! Cute shops and great places to eat in downtown New Buffalo. Lots of outdoor seating at the house, including a grill and a firepit.

Exceeded expectations

Super cozy cute well appointed house. The location in variety of activities around the neighborhood were way beyond our expectations. Walking to the private beach and the area were huge bonuses. This is a really cool community with interesting architecture and beautiful wooded streets to walk. I really liked the area. In the proximity to all the great parks around there.

Best kept secret in the woods

Planned this trip for my Hubby's birthday and anniversary. It was absolutely perfect. Close to the beach everything we wanted to do in the area. The house was very cute and clean. Very quiet neighborhood and everyone we met were very friendly. Property manager was very helpful and also very friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here. I will be booking next year for sure!

Peaceful

The cottage was quaint but perfectly met the needs for our family of 5. We loved that we could take the golf cart to access to a private beach area. The home was so peaceful and we enjoyed watching deer graze in the mornings and evenings. We would definitely enjoy staying again!

Very relaxing

We had a wonderful stay. The owner provided great communication and gave good restaurant recommendations. The house was comfortable and the neighborhood was friendly and quiet. The use of the golf cart to get to the private beach was great.

This house needs a better cleaning service, cobwebs on the lights, terrible musty smell throughout the house. One bedroom smelled like cigarette smoke. Beds aren't the best. We had 2 rainy mornings and there was nothing there for kids to do, a few board games or a deck of cards would be a nice touch. Directions for beach parking were confusing.

This is a family cottage that my husband built when my boys were little. When they were growing up we spent a lot of our summers here, and now that they are both grown they enjoy bringing their families on vacation here. Our family is renting this property now because we have decided to share our favorite vacation spot with others. We chose this location because of its proximity to the city of Chicago and the many area attractions.

The thing we like most about this property is that there is always something to do for all ages. On beautiful sunny days, we enjoy the beach, while on rainy or gloomy days we enjoy the shopping, museums, and local theaters. Our cottage is located only a short drive from the train station that goes to Chicago, so a day trip is easy to do.
