Nicely maintained and well appointed. Very comfortable residence and nicer amenities than you might expects. On site property manager was very responsive, and accommodating of unusual arrival and departure needs. Will book this listing again without hesitation.

Great place!

Easy, quiet, great from Igi who lives in the basement. Close to both canyons and great views with a nice hot tub.

Great house for a group: clean, plenty of space, great location, wonderful view from the hot tub

I highly recommend this VRBO and will definitely be staying here again. Booking was smooth, communication with our host was friendly and efficient, everything was exactly as described and our host was extremely helpful. Can't wait to come back!

Location, Location

Great location for skiing! Less than 30 min drive to ski resorts! All the best restaurants within 10 mins. House was clean & very comfortable! Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice stay

This was a nice place to use as our base camp. We had good access to Little Cottonwood, and Big Cottonwood Canyons for skiing at Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, and Solitude ski areas. Smith's grocery just down the road was handy for supplies. Kitchen was well equipped. We left happy.

Ski week

Really great property, felt like we were in a palace. The games room was super fun, it has everything you need and for people with own transport its super convenient to get to the ski fields or head down town. Highly recommended.

Powder week

It was a nice home. Plenty of space. Fun family room to chill in after being out on the slopes. Kids had a blast. Hot tub was nice and in a cozy little spot out back.

Our ski trip

Property is all it says it is. Well outfitted in every way. Helpful manager. Great location for reaching all ski resorts. Convenient to main roads to get around the city and surrounding areas. Highly recommend!

Perfect Location!

This beautiful home is located perfectly between Brighton, Solitude, Alta and Snowbird resorts. All amenities available. An amazing view of the mountains and city. More than ample space for my family. Highly recommend this home.

Great place for a small group of skiers

Well-appointed throughout the house. Very clean and kitchen has everything you need. Short walk around the house to the hot tub but beautiful view when you get there. Iga does stay in the basement 'apartment' and is there to help with check in. Located very close to Big and Little canyons. Will stay there again.

Outstanding rental for Snowbird/Alta ski vacations

This is the second year we have spent a week at this rental. We had 5 adults and 2 children and zero complaints about space. The deck allowed us fabulous views of the city in the evening as did the hot tub which comfortably fit 4-5 adults. The commute was only 20 minutes to Snowbird/Alta and there are a number of great restaurant options within 5-10 minutes of the property. The home is immaculately maintained.

Cozy home for ski vacation

The home is ideally located at near the base of Big/Little Cottonwood Canyons for easy access to the ski bus or driving. Iga is very kind and lives below. She has a separate outdoor entrance and is never intrusive, but very responsive for any questions or needs. The beds/bedding are very comfortable - probably some of the best we've slept in. There are abundant fluffy white towels, soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, coffee pods, etc. The house was very clean. Our family with 3 young adult children had a great time staying here, and will definitely return on our next ski trip to SLC.

Will Use This Property If Available On All Trips To The SLC Area

The house was just as advertised. It has many separate areas where you can spend time and if in a large group, accommodate different activities at the same time. The property manager lives on site and does a great job keeping the house and very unique and beautiful grounds in excellent condition. I spent a lot of time on the deck working on my laptop, worked out on the home gym upstairs in the loft with a large screen TV for late night movie watching and a bit of time at the kitchen table looking out over the back deck to the valley and city of Salt Lake. Snowbird Ski Resort and other additional resorts are so close by it would have been impossible to now go visit them. Spent 6 hours at Snowbird just a short drive away. Anyone who enjoys the outdoors will enjoy this location because it is so convenient to a plethora of activities for all four seasons. Will recommend to friends and co-workers that will be visiting the SLC. A great place for just a few more dollars than a nice hotel in the area. I look forward to returning again and staying at this great property. Nearby grocery and food options for those that desire. I travel extensively and had no idea this area of the country was so beautiful and had the abundance of activities as it does. Communication was easy and immediate which is always a concern - but in this case it gave me confidence I made the right choice...and I did. Give this property a chance. It's great. Highly recommend!

Nice Accommodations

We were warmly greeted by the Property Manager. I was a bit surprised to learn that she would be living in basement apartment. I usually select “Entire House” when searching for a place to stay. (Maybe I missed that filter). We had a lot of space and used all of it. There were plenty of towels and paper products. The kitchenware was also well stocked. There were no condiments. Not really a problem for us though. There was a fireplace, but there was also a sign that said not to use it. The best part of the rental was the upstairs that had a lot of windows and beautiful views to the west and south. We were allotted 1 parking space in the garage, and when we had visitors, they had to park at the curb. The decor was very nice and it definitely felt like a home. It had also been thoroughly cleaned. The refrigerator was large and the stove/oven worked great. The dishwasher had some issues, but I didn’t say anything to the manager because I don’t mind washing dishes by hand. The foosball table provided competitive entertainment for us. We also used the workout equipment which was a nice feature for us. Overall, we will probably stay here again

Great house for skiing

This is a great house for a ski trip. We had a great experience interacting with Marzena and Iga. Iga stays in the basement apartment and is there to help with anything you need but you'd never know she's there unless you're looking for her. The house is a short drive to the entrance of both canyon roads to get to Snowbird/Alta or Brighton/Solitude. Three bedrooms with a queen or king mattress plus a bonus sleeping area with another king bed, all very comfortable. Smith's grocery store is right around the corner to get what you need to cook. Park City is about 40 minutes away and worth the drive even if you're an Ikon pass holder, just a dinner in PC is fun. One minor thing to expect is that the loft sleeping area will be 5-10 degrees colder than the bedrooms during the winter because of the way the HVAC is set up. It wasn't a big deal to us. Word of caution on the skiing, nothing to do with the house... if you ski at Brighton until 3:30 on a Sunday, especially if there is fresh snow, it will be a nightmare drive home. We got in our car at the Brighton lot at 3:45 and didn't get back to the house (12 miles away) until 6:45. Sunday is the only day Brighton doesn't have night skiing so everyone, including the Solitude crowd who is ahead of you on the canyon road, is leaving at the same time.

BEWARE- Property manager lives on site

We booked this stay one month prior our trip. Two weeks prior to arrival we received a text at 2 am stating we did not return our rental contract and our stay was going to be canceled. We asked the owner a few questions about the contract and got no response. We went ahead and sent it in anyway. When we got to the unit and asked about check in, the property manager informed us she lived on site. She would get us a key after she let the dog out. I did not notice paragraph 16 of the contract states she was living there. The house was nice enough and the beds were comfortable, but the outside is in total disrepair. Guests are to park out on the street because she parks in the garage. The contract says a parking spot is available in the driveway, but also says you can not park there so the owner can come and go. The contract says the unit sleeps four but on VRBO it says five. We have a family of five, so incurred an additional charge. The hot tub is available, but is right in front of her downstairs apartment. The many miscommunications with the owner/ property manager. make this convenient location not worth the cost especially with the lack of privacy.

The rental agreement, signed after multiple follow-ups, clearly discloses that a property manager resides on-site. This reservation was nearly canceled due to delayed agreement submission. We require it before every stay as part of our commitment to transparency, so guests are aware of house rules, layout, and expectations ahead of time. There was no additional charge for the guest’s group of five. The VRBO listing at the time of booking allowed five guests, and that’s exactly what we honored. No additional fees were incurred. Parking was clearly explained in the rental agreement. Guests are welcome to use one garage space in the two-car garage, or park curbside if preferred. Driveway parking is not permitted to prevent anyone from being blocked — this is also detailed in the agreement. We take pride in the condition of our home and continually invest in keeping it beautiful for our guests, and are proud of the experience we offer — something that’s reflected in our extensive list of 5-star reviews, which we invite future guests to read through. VRBO has classified this property as Exceptional, and it has maintained a 9.8 out of 10 rating over many years. Guests have described the stay as “immaculate,” “spotlessly clean,” “a gem of a place,” and “an amazing experience.” Many say they can’t wait to return, and we’re honored to consistently provide that level of experience.
