On the edge of a forest a couple of miles from Seward. Very clean. Peaceful location. Pleasant hostess. My wife loved it. My first and last yurt experience.

Due to spotty service, make sure you open your check in email instructions before heading to the property. We stayed in 3 different places in Seward "suburbs" and all were nice. We are usually primitive campers, but glamping was very nice. You will need the provided eye mask for sleeping since there is a sky light.

Great place!

The yurt was the perfect base camp for our stay in Seward! It was so cozy and comfortable, and it had everything we needed!

The yurt was a unique experience for us. It is very clean and comfortable and the host is very helpful and quick to respond. We would definitely stay again.

Great Yurt very close to Seward

Great location and the shower/toilet was very nice after staying at another dry location. Great space and everything was very clean.

This was a nice place. Bathrooms were the best kept of any of our stays. Very clean. Would stay there again.

Great, cozy yurt stay in Seward

Perfect cozy yurt for 1-2 people. Very close to everything in Seward, exit glacier, and harbor. Good hot water in the outdoor bathroom and warm heater in the yurt. Host was excellent. Would recommend to anyone staying in Seward.

Cozy & convenient

We loved the yurt! It was so cozy, clean, and relaxing. The bathhouse is right beside it and the facilities are so clean & modern. The yurt is in a quiet location but still so close to town and right of the main road making it super convenient, too.

Great experience

Our first time visiting Seward, and we stayed in a cozy yurt. And we’d pick the same accommodation again! Modern bathroom just for yurt guests is a few steps outside your door. You’re hardly a couple miles from downtown Seward.

Great yurt stay!

I was soooo nervous to be staying in a Yurt. I’m not an outdoorsy/tent type but this was so not like what I pictured. It’s very spacious and lovely and not at all like what I thought! Owners were wonderful and we were very comfortable!

Alaska adventure

My best friend traveled with me on this trip,I wanted to see my daughter that moved there in March. We were a bit concerned when hearing howling the first night, but then quickly turned to laughter of “what did we get ourselves into”. The place was clean, had lots of room, bathroom was clean & very close by. It was a great experience!

Clean and cute

Really clean! The bathroom was truly clean and wonderful. The only thing i would want to mention, if you’re not thinking about it like I wasn’t, is that a yurt is essentially a tent. There is apparently a kennel or something nearby because the night was filled with tens of dogs all howling in unison as well as general dog barking all night long. Add to that wildlife sounds in general and people opening and closing their car doors in the wee hours plus general road noise. Bring some earplugs. WiFi would have been amazing since there is extremely limited service in the area. If I hadn’t previously downloaded the email with instructions to get in, there was no getting onto the app to find out. I want to reiterate that the hosts were wonderful and the yurt was great.

This was our first time staying in a Yurt and it was a great experience. Maria has a wonderful set up for guests with a separate bathroom building that includes a walk in shower. It was a great location for us to explore Seward and Kenai’ National Park.
