This was a lovely property, and our family really enjoyed our stay. We particularly enjoyed the large screened in porch, and the large area of access to the lake.

This place is incredible. It feels like home as soon as you walk through the door. The owner is incredibly kind and accommodating. We rode out a hurricane while there and the house is as sturdy as it gets. The property is the highlight of the house. The grounds are beautiful and were great for our kids to feel like they were on an adventure.

We come back to this property year after year since 2011. It's heaven on earth. It is our true relaxation vacation. It's about the grounds and nature and Aubrey has one of the best spots on the lake. It has everything you need. Beds are comfy and hot tub is an extra plus .

There is nothing like the sunset at Aubrey's Lakewood Cabin .... except maybe the sunrise when sitting in the hot tub.

Staying at Aubrey’s Lakewood Cabin at Treasure Cove was fantastic. I was in contact with our great host, Sheri and the owner of the property several times. Both of them very accommodating. We came from the FL Panhandle and were seeking a break from the exasperating heat. This lake home was certainly the answer. We played in the water everyday, watched the picturesque sunsets and rain storms roll in from the porch swing and chairs and truly enjoyed the uninterrupted "family" time for games, meals, rest and deep discussions. Oh, loved the sheets on the beds as well! Accessibility was somewhat of an issue for my parents (in their 90's) but we went, knowing they would need assistance. We would all love to visit again.

This cabin feels like you stepped back into a 1950s lake vacation. The house/cabin seems to have been built in the late 30s to early 40s. The property is amazing and could only have all of the stone work and docks with generations of landscaping. It was truely an amazing yard with a super cool fire pit, sand volleyball court and even a bit of a gradual drop into the lake that would feel safe with littlier children. We had one of the best family days outside playing croquet, badminton and kayaking. It was idyllic. One important note the second bathroom is in the laundry area off the screened porch and is very small, part of the house being built so long ago. Also, the rooms are small so don't plan to put kids on the floor in the rooms. Again this is a historic house so it comes with historical home charms. This wasn't a big issue for us though because there were only 5 of us. Like all the reviews said just because it is a historic home didn't mean it wasn't clean. The house was exceptionally clean. We would definitely recommend this house.

Your words have so beautifully captured the cabin that was built by Aubrey's grandfather. As a child, he and his brother spent their summers on the lake with the grandparents. The memories are so precious that we have tried to keep that beauty and sweet feeling alive on the property. Most folks comment that it is peaceful and wonderful. An opportunity to step back from the "busyness" of life and relax back into a time of carefree ease. Thankyou for sharing your thoughts and please come back to visit. There is a specialness there we hope others can enjoy too.

The views are amazing. Was perfect for our group. We loved hearing the owls at night and geese in the mornings. We even watched an eagle catch a fish just off the dock, amazing! It’s an older cottage but brought back memories of staying with my grandparents as a child.

We hope to see you next year. Don't forget our Fall/Football special. From mid September through November (not including Thanksgiving week), rent Friday and Saturday and receive Thursday or Sunday for free. It's totally relaxing!

Spring has flowers, summer means "on the water", fall is fun with beautiful leaves and our football special deal (get one night free) and winter means peaceful and quiet holidays. Great getaway with the family

Yes, very kid friendly. So many fun adventures to have. This cabin is where Aubrey (owner) spent his summers during grade school years along with his brother. Aubrey's grandparents took care of them during the break. So many wonderful memories. Please come back and see us again.

The place was absolutely fantastic! The screened in porch was so wonderful to relax on and enjoy time with family. The amount of water front access you have is incredible and the steps down into the water are wonderful for accessing the lake. Its location to marinas and restaurants is wonderful as well. I would definitely stay here again!

We love our location too. This quiet point is everything you are looking for. Great fishing, swimming, volleyball, boating, sun bathing on the dock - perfect for peace and privacy. Families visit year after year. We hope you do too!
