The yurt stands alone near a wine tasting room. It has a private restroom with a small shower that is just off the tasting room. The yurt has a small microwave, refrigerator and a pitcher of water. There are a couple of couches, chairs and a queen size bed. The bed is firm, but comfortable enough. We had a lovely time. My husband and I enjoyed sipping wine, and the privacy of the yurt.

The Yurt at Eaglemount was an awesome place to stay! Friendly staff on a serene and beautiful estate. Super close to town. Very quiet place to stay. The yurt was stocked with everything we needed, we didn't need the AC while we were there, but glad to know it was an option. Staff was responsive when needed. No real WiFi available, but service was fine. Bathroom access was exactly as described in the listing, was nice to have a private bathroom even if it was in the main building.

We absolutely loved our stay! The yurt was clean and cozy, and the mini split helped up maintain the perfect temperature! The property is so pretty, and the cider is amazing! The bathroom is a short walk, but clean and decent sized. This was the perfect glamping city get away! Located just a quick drive from town, the beach, and lots of hiking trails. The hosts were communicative and really think of pretty much everything for your stay, extra blankets and bedding, a toaster, microwave, mini fridge, and coffee pot! I do wish the floor was a little more updated so I could be barefoot, but other than that I would not change a thing!

This property was absolutely lovely and exactly what we were looking for, for the weekend! The yurt was cozy and secluded and the walk to the bathrooms was not bad at all! During our stay, a pipe burst, resulting in no water for a few hours, but Trudy was on it and had it fixed in no time. We would definitely stay again!

such a special place and close to town but with the peace and quiet of being in the middle of no where. it was especially lovely when it rained at night. just have a glamping mind set and you won't mind the 30 second walk to the bathrooms like some of the reviews mentioned :-p lovely communication, would stay again!

The yurt was quite lux and larger than it seems from the photo (it also has AC!). Grounds were lovely with goats and horses. It has rural feeling and is quite peaceful yet quite close to town. Only downside was there was some road noise. Overall we loved it and would stay again!

A nice place to stay. Very quiet. The seperate bathroom should be updated but was sufficient. Instructions should be provided at yurt. Would stay there again.

What an amazing find this was! Traveling to Port Townsend in the summer can be costly, and so I was delighted to find this beautiful glamping spot. Everything about it was delightful. First off, it’s located off the busy main roads and feels remote even though the main grocery store in town is less than 10 minutes away. Despite the seclusion, I felt safe and secure while at the property even while being a solo traveler. The yurt itself is massive—so much so that I worried the A/C unit might have trouble cooling down such a large space, but I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly it cooled down inside after switching it on. It’s perched on the side of a hill and has a deck the wraps nearly the all the way around the yurt. Deck chairs are set out to allow you to enjoy the beautiful surroundings by day and the stars on a clear night. Inside, there’s enough room for an entire family to eat, sleep, and generally coexist comfortably—at least, for a short while. There is a fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, electric kettle and kuerig coffee maker. There’s no plumbing at the yurt itself, but there’s a full bathroom in the main building that is accessible with a key. Also, there are plenty of power outlets available for all of your charging needs. I really enjoyed my time here and hope to return. Would definitely book again.

Glamping

Really this yurt is more of a glamping experience. There's no running water, no Wi-Fi or service, and no bathroom connected to it. The closest bathroom is in a separate building. I didn't mind it, but wish it was more explicit on the listing. Otherwise the yurt was very comfortable and a nice distance from Port Townsend.

Yurt review

The yurt was clean and spacious. We arrived and an electrician was working on the power because indoor floor outlets were not working. Electricity was connected by a buried extension cord-hardly up to fire code. Throughout the stay the AC/Heat would trip a breaker and we had neither. Shower was obviously used by someone else-curtain was dirty on bottom, smelly towels on the floor. Located on a very busy/noisy road. Went to take a shower and the towels were not in the bathroom. used a t-shirt to dry off. We tried to find another hotel room but all were booked for the 2 days we stayed in Port Townsend. The host was informed of the above concerns and did not respond.

No bathroom!

Description said one bedroom & one bathroom but that’s not true. The listing info is entirely misleading. There was NO BATHROOM with the yurt. We had to go outside & walk down a dark dirt path at least 100 yards from the yurt, then up a rickety set of stairs onto a back porch of an entirely separate building. Make our way around the garbage cans & a bunch of funky mops & buckets to unlock a filthy back door into a tiny sad bathroom—worse than an old gas station restroom. This was especially fun the night there was a thunderstorm and multi hour downpour. No umbrella or working flashlight was even provided. We were unable to wash up or get to the toilet until the following morning. Very third world experience. We are quite disappointed that VRBO even listed this property. I am going to appeal for a refund.
