This property was heaven . The home was cozy and serene with a big beautiful outdoor space for our dog to run around . The beds were very comfortable, the home was very clean and had everything we needed . We enjoyed it so much that we spent more time enjoying the home, and less time exploring ! We loved the quiet charming neighborhood as well .

It Really is a Charming home

My husband and I stayed here while visiting family! It was a perfect home to relax in and recharge before our busy days! Our hosts were very generous and accommodating! We felt very welcomed! I would stay here again!

Relaxing Location

Loved the charming house. The backyard, back deck, firepit and views were show stealers. The house clean and had everything we needed to enjoy a visit with our college student.

We were very happy with our stay. The communication from beginning to end was absolutely amazing. The cottage was clean and inviting. The back yard made it a great place for our dog to play and hang out. Very comfortable and peaceful setting. Great neighborhood and friendly neighbors! Zero complaints! So glad we found this cottage for our stay. Would definitely book it again if we get up to Hickory again. Thanks!

Beautiful neighborhood

I have stayed here twice in 2 years and brought my dog both times. Great yard for him to play frisbee and lovely little quiet neighborhood for walks. Very close to LR University which my daughter goes to.

Quaint and Comfortable

We had a great time in Hickory. For us, this location was very convenient for many day trips. The cottage was adorable and comfortable and had everything you would need. We will definitely be back again in the near future. Thank you.

Perfect Location

Everything was terrific for our stay! We spent a few nights here while my Lenoir-Rhyne student son recovered from a surgery. It was the perfect place for our needs; comfortable, very quiet and very close to the University, hospitals and all amenities. The neighborhood is lovely, and you’ll spot lots of friendly walkers, runners and dog-walkers. I 100% recommend this home!

explored Hickory

The house was perfectly situated for me to explore areas in and around Hickory. Quick and easy 5 minute drive to Hickory Lake Park to walk my dog and ride my bike on the off-road trails. 20 minute drive to Bakers Park and Riverbend Park for more trail walking. House was pleasantly cooled with a/c, ceiling fans above the bed, and the mattress comfortable provided for a great nights sleep.

Visit college daughter

My father and I and my dog stayed at the cottage to visit my daughter who attends LR for a track meet. The beds were super comfy. My dog loved the yard to play frisbee and round around. Southern Charm

Really nothing special. Furniture in back was thrown all around. Nothing was set up. Dirty ashtrays sitting on tables in back and front of home. Ants in bathroom. It wasn’t as pleasant as we thought it would be. Some of the towels looked dirty etc. very surprising.

Our stay in Hickory

We have stayed here quite a few times and cannot say enough good things about it. We love the location, the home is very nice and is stocked with everything you need. Perfect place for us while we are in town visiting family!
