We loved this place! Having the dock made boat rental and enjoyment of the lake so easy. The house is fully stocked and the host was incredibly responsive and made our stay even more enjoyable. I would 100% recommend this place.

Wonderful home, well equipped, comfortable beds and a very attentive owner. My family of 4 stayed for 10 days and had a perfect vacation.I highly recommend this home for your next lake vacation.

Great lake house, clean, well laid-out and equipped. Nice deck/dock with comfortable furniture. Hosts were super-responsive and proactive. Would definitely book again!

Great vacation spot! Beautiful house, great layout and incredible views! The dock is a perfect spot to tie your water toys/ boat, and sit out and relax. Loved that you could walk in to swim. We will definitely be back!

Our 2 weeks at the lake

Hi, We really enjoyed our stay on Winnisquam. The home was in a great area of the lake, no wake zone. Home is close to everything yet so far away.

Great getaway

The house was perfect. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The communication with Lauren (the host) was great. I would highly recommend it!

Great stay on Winnesquam

The house was perfect for our family. We brought our boat and could dock right outside the door. The house was very comfortable with lovely furnishings. The central air made our evenings very comfortable. Communication with Lauren was easy and quick. We would definitely go back.

Highland Bike Park

This was a trip to visit the Highland bike park. We thought it would be nice to have some thing on the lake. This property was wonderful. Very clean, freshly redone, and wonderfully appointed furnishings. We would definitely come back.

Fantastic Rental

This was probably the best rental I've ever stayed at. The house was clean and had everything we needed - especially in the kitchen. Perfect location. The master bedroom and bath were wonderful and had plenty of towels, etc. It even had my favorite shampoo. The Hosts were excellent too. When I had questions, they always got back to me within minutes. Beautiful lakeside views from the private dock. Highly recommend this rental.

Overall, the property is a 4 out of 5. This should improve as the new owners have time to fine tune minor issues and the 7 day a week construction next door reaches completion. I am an early riser and in the construction business, so it did not bother me. But I can see where it would bother folks who would like to stay in bed past 7 am. I did contact the owner during our stay, and she was very responsive and seemed very nice ovewr the phone.

This is unfortunately a situation we have no control over. The house will be done in September 2023 so we hope this review does not dissuade future tenants. As for the few minor issues you contacted us about during your stay, I am happy to say they were all addressed and fixed this week. I’m sorry we could not achieve a 5 star rating as that is what we strive to do. We wish you the best in your future stays.

Great House in a great location

We stayed that the property for two weeks. Some big pluses for us, we were able to dock our boat at the house and there was still room for everyone to swim, kayak fish etc. Note: here is no boat put in here, but you can put in at one of the public beaches if you bring a boat and drive it over,or go to Winnisquam Marine and rent, it’s two minutes away from the house. The house came fully equipped so we could cook, hang out chill etc. beds are very comfy, good air conditioning and good outdoor space. I know prior review said were some teething troubles, we had none. Also mentioned construction next door, that is done. I was concerned about the very large house next door and if it was a rental property, it could get loud, but it’s not, the family who live there are very quiet. There is some construction at houses close by, but we found they didn’t start work until after 9am and were done by 6 and it was only during the week. This area does have a lot of houses close together but we had no issues with noise and being in a no wake zone of the lake, it’s very safe to swim in. We've stayed at a number of places on the lake and this was one of our favorites. Overall, all we had a great stay, Lauren is a great host and we will absolutely be booking this again.

Wonderful location. The waterfront is great being in a no wake zone making it nice for swimming, floating or just watching the lake activity. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, pots/pans, utensils and much more. The deck is a nice place to sip a cup of coffee and have your meals. Parking is ample and right next to the house. The host was great with communication, very responsive. We hope to make this an annual vacation spot.
