The kitchen supplies are minimal with only 4 forks. It could use some tender loving care with some updating. It was just ok and fine for what we needed.

Tall Timbers was beautiful and well appointed. The bedding was super comfortable and clean. It looked brand new. The kids especially loved the hot tub. We would definitely stay here again!!

The cabin itself was awesome ! The drive up is pretty rough and would be difficult to do in a low clearance vehicle . I also didn't notice in the description anywhere until after I had booked that there is no wifi , which would have been a deterrent. There is some hiking right behind the cabin that was cool ! Overall I would recommend this cabin if WiFi isn't a big deal to you .

This cabin provided more than enough room for our family. The host was easy to communicate with and quickly responded to any questions. The road to the cabin is narrow and steep. We were able to make in my FWD vehicle, however any ice or a lot of rain may make that difficult.

We also appreciate your feedback about the driveway. It is a gravel driveway on a hill, so we always encourage guests to review the listing details before arrival. Under normal conditions, 2WD vehicles can access the property just fine, and our own housekeeping team regularly makes the drive in 2WD vehicles as well. We appreciate you mentioning your experience, and we’d love to host you again on your next getaway!

We had a great time and the cabin was perfect size. The trail behind the cabin and at mammoth arch were so fun and a great little challenge. A great spot in a good area in close proximity to all kinds of trails and activities. We did Out The Top utv tour which was 20 min away and completely worth the money and time

Not having Wi-Fi in 2026 is absurd. The microwave throws sparks, without anything in there. Having the washer and dryer is definitely a plus. The hot tub was nice and hot and clean! Over all I love the cabin, but the steps were A lot....or mabey I'm outta shape

The cabin was very spacious and clean, and the fire pit and hot tub were in great shape. We did the attaching hike, which had some sections of climbing but were very enjoyable as well. Our only problem was the upstairs bathroom doorknob wouldn’t open when unlocked. Other than that we had a great experience! Would definitely do this again!

Cabin could use some repair. Broken shower glass, torn couch, melted outdoor chair and stained bedding made the property feel worn and neglected. Door in upstairs bathroom would lock person inside the bathroom. Hot tub was nice and trail behind cabin leading to rock top was fun and great for sunrise/sunset.

Thank you for your honest feedback. We're sorry that several small things added up to feel like the cabin was neglected. We have since replaced the outdoor chairs, fixed the bathroom door lock, and are looking into replacing the couch and shower glass. We are glad you still had an enjoyable time hanging out in the hot tub and hiking the private trails at sunrise and sunset!

The trail up to the cabin was adventurous. You must follow the written instructions and also take some guesses on the “path” leading up to the cabin. We do a lot of off-road and back county travel so it was no big deal for us but could be for some who are not used to narrow roads with 15 inclines. The cabin sits high above the parking area and the climb up and down with gear and food could be challenging for those out of shape. The cabin feels like grandmas cabin. Very rustic feeling as it should. Everything was very clean. Plenty of towels, toilet paper, and paper towel. The Kitchen is a little light on amenities. Only two tall glasses, two tumblers, 2 coffee cups, and just a few pieces of silverware. There are pots, pans, and casserole dishes. It was just two of us so we had plenty of dishes. The hot tub was a real hot tub with jets and it was exactly what we needed after hiking and trail riding. This is not one of those round tubs that has hot water. As great as it was, it did not come without areas of improvement. The toilet seats were recently replaced but the handyman who installed them must not have been very handy. He couldn’t figure out how to tighten the plastic wing nuts on the bottom so the seat wouldn’t slide back and forth. Not one of the appliances were leveled and the stove stuck out from the wall by 4” preventing drawers from opening. There was a missing smoke detector in the master bedroom. Lights were all different colors and some were blue and harsh.

Our favorite part was the trail in the back of the house. If you’re okay with a climb you can make it to the top of the hill with a killer view.

The location of this cabin is amazing! There's a beautiful rock wall right beside the driveway. It is a 15 minute drive to Natural Bridge Park and also a 15 minute drive south to the entrance of Red River Gorge.

This cabin is very cozy! The beds, pillows, and couch are very comfortable! The host was great! It’s was a beautiful day for being March 1st but no chairs at the fire pit. I text the host and they had some delivered. The hot tub was nice and relaxing. On departure, my husband left his wallet there. We were notified and offered to mail it to us. Thanks so much! We will be back!

Nice cabin in the woods

Red River Gorge

The cabin was close enough to everything we wanted to do. We hiked, visited the lodge, kayaked and had delicious food. The area is beautiful. The property manager responded immediately to any questions I had.

Cousins get away

We loved the rustic feel and the hot tub. We hiked behind the cabin. The driveway was a bit rough but we have a 4x4 truck so that helped. Plenty of room for 5 adult sized people.
